Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Yes, you can play World of Warcraft (WoW) on Linux! While Blizzard doesn't officially support Linux, the game runs well using Wine or Proton (Valve's Wine-based compatibility layer for Steam Play). Heres how to get it working: Install WoW via Lutris (Easiest Method) Lutris is a popular game manager for Linux that simplifies Wine setup. Steps: Install Lutris (available in most distro repos): - Debian/Ubuntu: - Arch Linux: - Fedora: Install Battle.net via Lutris: - Open Lutris Search for "Battle.net" Click Install. - Follow the prompts to install Battle.net. Install WoW: - Log in to Battle.net Install World of Warcraft as usual. Install WoW via Steam Proton (Alternative) If you prefer Steam, you can add Battle.net as a non-Steam game and run it via Proton. Steps: Install Steam (if not already installed). Enable Proton for all titles: - Go to Steam Settings Steam Play Enable Proton for all titles. Add Battle.net as a Non-Steam Game: - Download the Battle.net installer. - In Steam, click Games Add a Non-Steam Game Browse and select the installer. - Right-click the added game Properties Compatibility Force Proton (latest version). Run the installer, log in, and install WoW. Manual Wine Setup (Advanced) If you prefer running WoW directly via Wine: Install Wine: Install Dependencies: Set up a Wine prefix: - Set Windows version to Windows 10. Install Battle.net: - Log in and install WoW. Performance Tips DXVK (DirectX to Vulkan): Improves performance (enabled by default in Lutris/Proton). ESync/FSync: Enable in Lutris for better performance. Game Mode: Use gamemoderun (Linux performance tweaks). Known Issues & Fixes Battle.net Launcher Crashes: Try running with --no-sandbox flag. Performance Drops: Lower in-game settings or switch to Proton-GE (custom Proton with fixes). Addons: Work normally (place in /wow64/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/World of Warcraft/retail/Interface/AddOns/). Conclusion WoW runs well on Linux, especially with Lutris or Proton. Performance is near-native with DXVK, and most addons work fine. If you encounter issues, check the Lutris forums or WineHQ. Would you like help with a specific issue?

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
