Of course! In Wizard101, Rank 9 Pet Snacks are the most powerful and sought-after snacks for training pets to Mega and Ultra. They provide the highest amount of experience (XP) and often come with valuable bonus stats. Heres a comprehensive breakdown of Rank 9 snacks, how to get them, and why they're so important. Key Rank 9 Pet Snacks Snack Name Pet XP Primary Stat Bonus How to Obtain (Primary Methods) : : : : Couch Potato 50 +2 Strength, +2 Agility Farming in Mirage, Empyrea, Grizzleheim. Best source overall. Evil Magma Peas 50 +2 Power, +2 Will Farming in the later worlds (e.g., Empyrea). Rarer than Couch Potatoes. Golden Wheat Bread 50 +2 Strength, +2 Intellect Farming in Karamelle. Prickly Bear Cactus 50 +2 Agility, +2 Power Farming in Mirage, Empyrea. Captain Cantaloupe 50 +2 Will, +2 Intellect Farming in Polaris. Note: All the snacks above are "Double-Garden" plants. This means you can farm them in large quantities from a single seed, making them the backbone of efficient pet training. Why Are Rank 9 Snacks So Important? Maximum Efficiency: At 50 XP per snack, they train pets the fastest. It takes 45 Rank 9 snacks to go from Baby to Mega, compared to hundreds of lower-rank snacks. Critical Stat Boosts: The +2 bonus to two different stats is crucial for achieving perfect or near-perfect stats (like 255 Strength, 250 Intellect, etc.) on your final pet. Gardening Economy: Once you have a garden of Couch Potatoes or Evil Magma Peas, you become self-sufficient. They drop their own seeds, snacks, and treasure cards, creating a sustainable system. How to Obtain Rank 9 Snacks (The Main Strategies) Gardening (The #1 Recommended Method) This is the long-term, sustainable solution. You plant seeds that drop Rank 9 snacks at elder harvest. Best Starter Plant: Couch Potatoes. They are the easiest to acquire and farm in bulk. How to get the initial seeds: Farm enemies in Mirage (Sand Squids, Lost Horizon), Empyrea, or Grizzleheim (Troubled Warriors, Splithoof Barbarians). Setup: Aim for a 69-plot "large circle" garden. Use spells like Pixie, Revive, and Plant All to manage it. Fishing Some Rank 9 snacks can be obtained as rare catches from fishing in specific areas. Example: Captain Cantaloupe can be fished for in Polaris. Crafting (Very Limited) A few Rank 9 snacks are craftable, but the recipes are often hard to get, and ingredients are from late-game bosses. Example: Maelstrom Snap (50 XP, +2 Agility, +2 Will) is crafted in the Arcanum. Drops from Bosses & Dungeons Some high-level bosses drop Rank 9 snacks, but this is not a reliable farming method compared to gardening. Examples: Darkmoor, Catacombs, and Lemuria bosses have a small chance to drop various Rank 9 snacks. The Pet Pavilion Snack Vendors: They do NOT sell Rank 9 snacks. The best you can buy is Rank 8 (40 XP) for a lot of gold. Pet Promenade Daily Quest: The final reward bundle has a small chance to contain a Rank 9 snack. Quick Comparison: Couch Potatoes vs. Evil Magma Peas (EMPs) Feature Couch Potatoes Evil Magma Peas : : : XP & Rank 50 (Rank 9) 50 (Rank 9) Stat Bonus +2 Strength, +2 Agility +2 Power, +2 Will Ease of Farming Easier (more common enemies) Harder (later worlds) Other Drops Mega Snacks, Empowers, Pet Jewels Mega Snacks, better treasure cards Best For Most players. Perfect for building Strength/Agility. Min-maxing Power/Will for maximum damage/critical. Beginner Tip: Start by farming for Couch Potato seeds. Once you have a stable garden, you'll never run out of Rank 9 snacks. Final Advice Your first goal in pet training should be to establish a Couch Potato garden. It might take a few hours of farming to get your first 5-10 seeds, but once you plant them and get to elder, they will multiply. This turns pet training from a painfully slow, expensive grind into a manageable and predictable process. Good luck with your pet training

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
