Of course! Wizard101 ore farming is all about finding Black Lotus and Stone Blocks, the two most essential ores for crafting. Heres a comprehensive guide to the most efficient methods, from early game to endgame. The Two Key Ores Black Lotus: Primarily used for transmuting other reagents and in high-level crafting (e.g., Dragonspyre crafting). Stone Block: Used in vast quantities for Crafting Tables, Furniture, and Castle Blocks. This is often the bigger bottleneck. Best Farming Locations & Methods The "Go-To" Spot: The Atheneum in Dragonspyre This is the undisputed classic for Black Lotus. Where: Enter the Atheneum, take the first right, and follow the path up to the "Crystal Cave" (where you fight the Loremaster). The entire outdoor area is a dense ore spawn zone. Method: Run a circuit around the towers, cliffs, and the cave entrance. Server hopping (changing realms) is highly effective here. Yield: Mostly Black Lotus, with some Stone Block, Fossils, and other reagents. Best for Stone Blocks: The Grand Chasm (Dragonspyre) If you need Stone Blocks specifically, this is your spot. Where: The lava-filled canyon area just before the entrance to the Labyrinth. Method: Run along the canyon paths. The ore here has a very high chance of being Stone Block. Pro Tip: Combine a run through the Atheneum (for Lotus) with a run through the Grand Chasm (for Stone Blocks). Early Game Option: Cyclops Lane & Firecat Alley Cyclops Lane: Check the dead-end paths and around the Minotaur's camp. Good for very early needs. Firecat Alley: The side alleys and around the burning buildings have several spawns. High-Level / Spellement Farming Bonus: The Aerial Shores in Empyrea Why it's great: The ore here yields Black Lotus and Stone Block, but also has a high chance of dropping Aether Sparks and Aether Particles (used for spellements and top-tier crafting). Method: Run the main island loop. You're farming two crucial resources at once. Castle Magic Farming: Your Own Dorm/Best House If you have a large castle (like the Red Barn Farm or Botanical Gardens), you can use Castle Magic. How: Place a large number of Small Reagent or Large Reagent nodes from the Castle Magic vendor. They will spawn random reagents, including ores, on a timer. Benefit: Completely AFK. Log in, harvest, and log out. Pro-Tips & Strategies for Efficiency Realm Hopping is Key: Ore nodes are realm-specific. If you clear an area, switch realms (e.g., from "Greyrose" to "Wu") to force a fresh spawn. Use a Mount: Obvious, but crucial for speed. Master Farmer: The Garden "Deadly Helephant Ears" has a small chance to drop Black Lotus at elder. "King Parsley" (which drops from it) can also drop Stone Blocks. Not the fastest for only ore, but a great passive source. Crafting Transmutation: If you have an excess of one ore, visit Wul'yahm in the Baobab Crown (Zafaria). He can transmute: 10 Stone Blocks 1 Black Lotus 10 Black Lotus 1 Stone Block Bazaar Flipping: Ores, especially Stone Blocks, are often sniped instantly. If you try this, be patient and quick. It's often faster to farm. Farming Route Summary (Quick Reference) What You Need Best Location Method : : : Black Lotus Atheneum (Dragonspyre) Run the crystal cave loop. Realm hop. Stone Blocks Grand Chasm (Dragonspyre) Run the lava canyon paths. Both + Spellements Aerial Shores (Empyrea) Run the main island loop. Early Game Ore Cyclops Lane / Firecat Alley Check side paths. AFK / Passive Your Castle (Red Barn Farm) Place Castle Magic Reagent nodes. Final Advice: For a major crafting project (like a new crafting table or a house), dedicate 30-60 minutes in Dragonspyre running both the Atheneum and Grand Chasm. With realm hopping, you'll gather hundreds of ore relatively quickly. Good luck, and happy crafting

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
