wizard101 lvl 80 gear
Of course! Level 80 is a major gear milestone in Wizard101, marking the transition from mid-game to the start of the end-game grind. You have several excellent options, each with different strengths and farming difficulties. Heres a breakdown of the best Level 80 gear sets: The Undisputed Best: Waterworks Gear This is the classic, must-have set for almost every school at Level 80. It offers a perfect balance of damage, critical, and resist. Location: Crab Alley (Wizard City) The Tower of the Helephant. You need to complete the "Tower of the Helephant" quest from Dworgyn in Nightside. Farming: Dungeon with 3 bosses. Can be long, but it's a rite of passage. Why it's great: Huge damage boost, good critical rating, solid universal resist, and a power pip chance boost. It will carry you comfortably to level 100. Best For: Every school. This is the universal standard. The Critical Alternative: House of Scales Gear This set trades some damage and resist from Waterworks for much higher Critical Rating and Critical Block. Location: The House of Scales in Zafaria (Stone Town). Farming: Longer, more difficult dungeon than Waterworks. Why it's great: If you love landing critical hits, this is your set. The critical and block stats are significantly higher. The gear also looks fantastic (Aztecan style). Best For: Schools that benefit immensely from critical (e.g., Fire, Storm). A matter of playstyle preference over Waterworks. The Crafted Option: Wintertusk Gear (Crafted) A very powerful and often underrated set. It requires completion of the crafting questline through Celestia. Location: Crafted. Recipes are purchased from Aegon Statz in Sudrilund, Wintertusk. Farming: Requires farming for reagents (especially Sunstone, Aether, etc.) in Wintertusk/Celestia. Why it's great: Stats are very competitive with Waterworks, sometimes offering more health or different stat distributions. It's a guaranteed way to get top-tier gear without relying on dungeon drops. Best For: Crafters, or wizards who have bad RNG in dungeons. Also great if you want a specific visual look. Gear by Slot Breakdown Gear Slot Best In Slot (General) Strong Alternatives : : : Hat Waterworks Hat House of Scales Hat, Crafted Wintertusk Hat Robe Waterworks Robe House of Scales Robe, Crafted Wintertusk Robe Boots Waterworks Boots House of Scales Boots, Crafted Wintertusk Boots Wand Sky Iron Hasta (Level 50+) Crafted Wintertusk Wand, Pack Wands (Aeon, Professor's) Athame Bear's Claw of Death (or school) Crafted Wintertusk Athame, Blade of the Felled Titan Amulet Shango's Deathblade Amulet (or school) Crafted Wintertusk Amulet, Jewel of the Apiary Ring Alpha and Omega Ring Crafted Wintertusk Ring, Ring of Battle Deck Nightbringer Deck (Crafted) Waterworks Deck, Deck of the Chosen Key Notes: Sky Iron Hasta: Don't ever replace this until much later (often Level 100+). The +10% universal damage and guaranteed power pip are unbeatable. Athame/Amulet/Ring: The ones listed are from Gladiator Dimachaerus in Mount Olympus (Level 30). They are so good that many players still use them at 80. The Level 60-70 alternatives are only marginal upgrades. Pet: This is crucial! A pet with Damage-Dealer talents (e.g., Triple-Double: 3 damage talents + 2 resist talents) will massively boost your stats. Quick Recommendation Path: For most players: Farm Waterworks for Hat, Robe, Boots. Use Sky Iron Hasta, Gladiator's Athame/Ring, and Shango's Amulet. If you love Critical: Try farming House of Scales after getting your Waterworks set and compare. If you hate farming dungeons: Level up your crafting and make the full Wintertusk set. Don't forget: Your Pet is a core piece of gear. Start working on a good one early. This gear will serve you excellently until Level 100 (Darkmoor), which is the next huge gear upgrade plateau. Good luck

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
