Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Of course! In Wizard101, Dog-type pets are a beloved and diverse category. They offer a wide range of talents and appearances, from loyal companions to powerful spell-givers. Heres a comprehensive guide to Dog pets in Wizard101. How to Get Dog Pets Hatching: The primary method. Visit the Pet Pavilion in the Commons and use the Hatching Kiosk. Search for "Dog" or specific names below. Drops: Some drop from specific bosses or are rewards from certain dungeons. Crowns Shop: A few are available for purchase with Crowns. Promotions: Some have been part of special codes or events. Popular & Powerful Dog Pets Dogs are known for having some of the best utility and spell-giving talents in the game. Top-Tier Meta Dogs These are considered among the best pets in the entire game for PvE. Fossil Avenger (aka "Fossil" or "Skeleton Dog"): Why it's great: It grants the Hammer of Thor spell (7-pip AoE for Storm). It also has a great talent pool for damage (Storm-Dealer, Pain-Giver, etc.). Best for: Storm wizards seeking the ultimate offensive pet. Gloomy Eye: Why it's great: Grants the Ninja Pigs spell (a powerful 4-pip single-hit for Myth). A cornerstone pet for Myth wizards at any level. Best for: Myth wizards. Deathdactyl (Hybrid Dog/Dragon): Why it's great: Grants the Ninja Pigs spell for Myth and has a strong Death-oriented talent pool. Very versatile. Best for: Myth or Death wizards. Lord of Winter (Polar Bear Dog): Why it's great: Grants the Snowball Barrage spell (Ice's version of a multi-hit). Crucial for Ice's solo strategy. Best for: Ice wizards. Excellent Support & School Dogs Painted Paw (Dalmatian): A classic. Often bred for perfect "quad-double" stats (4 damage talents, 2 resist talents). Death Watch Hound: A Death-school staple, often used to get Pain-Giver and Death-Dealer talents. Blaze Fox (Fire Fox): Popular for Fire wizards, can be built for damage or utility. Wandering Eye: Grants a useful Empower card (gives 1 power pip), great for support or early game. Kookaburra (Life Dog): Grants the Leaf Storm AoE spell, a game-changer for low-level Life wizards. Fun & Thematic Dogs Bloodhound: Classic detective look. Corgi / Royal Corgi: Fan favorites for their adorable appearance. Bulldog / Pirate Bulldog: Tough-looking companions. Mountain Yeti (Yeti Dog): A shaggy, monstrous dog. Dapper Corgi: Wears a tiny suit and monocle. Key Talents to Look For on Dog Pets What makes a dog pet powerful is its talent pool. When building one, aim for combinations like: For Damage: Pain-Giver, School-Dealer (e.g., Storm-Dealer), School-Giver (e.g., Myth-Giver), Mighty (increases Strength stat, boosting damage). For Survival: Spell-Proof, Spell-Defying, School-Ward talents. For Utility: May Cast Heals (e.g., Unicorn, Fairy), May Cast Shields, Furnisher (for housing), Fishing Luck. The "Quad-Double": The ideal build for many max-level wizards is a pet with four damage talents and the two universal resist talents (Spell-Proof & Spell-Defying), made possible by a "Mighty" jewel. Hatching & Breeding Strategy for Your Perfect Dog Find a Base Pet: Get any Dog pet from the Kiosk, a drop, or the Crown Shop. Use the Hatching Kiosk: Search for the pet you want (e.g., "Fossil Avenger") with the talents you desire. Look for ones with a high "Pedigree" rating and the desired talents manifested. Hatch Repeatedly: Your first hatch will give you a pet that is a mix of your pool and the other pet's pool. Keep hatching your best result with better and better parents from the Kiosk to "clean" the talent pool. Train to Adult: Always train each new hatch to Adult (or sometimes Ancient) to see what talents it manifests. This is a long-term gold and time investment. Quick Recommendations by Wizard School Storm: Fossil Avenger (for Hammer of Thor) or a Painted Paw for a quad-double. Myth: Gloomy Eye or Deathdactyl (for Ninja Pigs). Ice: Lord of Winter (for Snowball Barrage). Fire: Blaze Fox or a damage-focused dog. Life: Kookaburra (for Leaf Storm) early on, then a damage/resist pet. Death: Deathdactyl or Death Watch Hound. Balance: Any dog with a good balance of damage and utility talents. Final Tip: Always check the Pet Name and Pedigree in the Kiosk. A pet named "Sparky" with a 85.0 Pedigree from a reputable player is often a safer bet than one with a generic name and low pedigree. Good luck with your hatching

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
