wizard101 death prism
Of course! In Wizard101, a Death Prism (also known as a "Death Shield" or "Death to Life" prism) is a crucial spell for Death school wizards, especially when fighting other Death enemies. Heres a complete breakdown of everything you need to know. What is a Death Prism? It's a Charm spell that converts the next Death damage attack you cast into Life damage for a single hit. It appears as a pink hourglass icon over the target's head. The Core Purpose: To bypass the natural 50% resistance that Death enemies have against Death damage. Without a prism, your Death spells do half damage to Death mobs and bosses. Key Details School: Death Type: Charm (Single-Target) Pips: 0 (Free to cast!) Effect: Converts the next Death damage hit to Life damage on the selected enemy. Availability: Trained spell, available early in the game. How & When to Use It Against Death Enemies: This is its primary use. Always prism a Death boss or minion before hitting them with your main attack (like Scarecrow, Wraith, or Banshee). The Sequence: Round 1: Cast the Death Prism on your target. Round 2: Cast your powerful Death attack spell. The prism will consume itself, converting the damage to Life, which the Death enemy has no resistance to. Against Other Schools: It's useless unless the enemy has a Death Shield (Death Armor). The prism will remove one Death Shield before converting the damage, acting as a "Shield Buster." How to Get It Primary Death Wizards: You will automatically learn this spell from Dworgyn, your Death school professor in Nightside, around level 5. Secondary School Death Wizards: If you train Death as a secondary school, you can purchase the prism from Dworgyn in Nightside after reaching a certain training point threshold (usually after learning the first few Death damage spells). Advanced Tips & Strategy Prism Stacking: You can cast multiple prisms on a single target before hitting. They stack, and only one is consumed per hit. This is useful for breaking through multiple Death Shields or for setting up a multi-hit spell. With Feints: The classic boss-killing combo is: Feint (global 70% trap) -> Death Prism -> Powerful Hit. The prism converts the damage after Feint's multiplier is applied, resulting in massive damage. PvP Use: In Player vs. Player, prisms are essential for breaking through the Death shields your opponent will almost certainly have. They also remove the "Spirit Armor" (Death & Myth shield) aura. Don't Forget It! It's a 0-pip spell. Not using it against a Death boss is the most common mistake, cutting your damage in half. Visual Guide & Example Scenario: Fighting a Death Boss with 80% Death Resistance. Your Wraith normally does 500 damage. Without Prism: 500 x 0.2 = 100 damage. With Prism: Damage converts to Life. Boss has 0% Life Resistance. 500 damage. Common Related Spells Fortify / Primordial Fortify: Treasure Card versions that are "Universal Prisms," converting your next Death hit to a random other school. Less reliable but situationally useful. Spirit Armor / Elemental Armor: Aura spells that give a shield against Death & Myth (or Fire & Ice). Prisms remove one of these shields. Pierce: While pierce reduces resistance, a prism is often more effective against very high resistances because it bypasses them entirely. In short: The Death Prism is a fundamental, zero-cost spell that defines the Death school's ability to handle its own mirror matches. Always keep it in your deck when facing Death enemies!

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
