Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

It sounds like you're asking about acrylic markers, though you may have typed "n" by accident. Here is a comprehensive breakdown of what they are, how they work, and what to look for. What Are Acrylic Markers? Acrylic markers are paint pens that contain liquid acrylic paint instead of ink or watercolor. They are a versatile tool for artists, crafters, and hobbyists because they combine the precision of a marker with the opacity and permanence of acrylic paint. Key Features & How They Work Paint Core: Instead of a felt tip soaked in dye, they have a hollow fiber tip or a valve that releases thick, opaque acrylic paint. Pigment: They use high-quality pigments, resulting in vibrant, lightfast colors that don't fade easily. Opacity: Most are highly opaque, meaning they can cover dark surfaces (like black paper, wood, or stone) in a single coat. Water-Resistant: Once dry, the paint is permanent and water-resistant (not waterproof for soaking, but fine for rain or light moisture). Surfaces: They work on almost any surface: paper, canvas, wood, glass, metal, stone, plastic, ceramics, and even fabric (with heat-setting). Types of Acrylic Markers There are two main internal mechanisms: Valve-Action Markers (e.g., Posca, Molotow): - Best for: Fine art, illustrations, detailed work. - How they work: You shake the pen, press the tip down on paper to open a valve, and paint flows out. You can control the flow by pressing harder or softer. - Pros: Very consistent flow, no squeezing needed, refillable (many models), precise. - Cons: Can clog if the tip is left down or not shaken enough. Squeeze/Sponge-Tip Markers (e.g., Sharpie Creative, cheaper brands): - Best for: Large areas, crafts, kids. - How they work: You squeeze the barrel to force paint into a sponge or felt tip. - Pros: Usually cheaper, good for broad strokes. - Cons: Flow is less consistent, can splatter, tips wear out faster, often not refillable. Popular Brands & Their Strengths Brand Best For Tip Sizes Notes : : : : Posca (by Uni Mitsubishi) All-rounder (best for beginners & pros) 0.7mm (PC-1M), 1.0mm (PC-3M), 1.8-2.5mm (PC-5M), 6-15mm (PC-8K, PC-17K) The industry standard. Consistent, durable, refillable, huge color range. Molotow Professionals & Street Art 1mm, 2mm, 4mm, 15mm (One4All) Very high-quality paint, refillable, excellent for fine art and glass. Liquitex Fine Art & Canvas 2mm, 5mm, 15mm (Professional) Artist-grade, archival, extremely lightfast. Expensive but high-end. Montana Acrylic Large Projects & Graffiti 2mm, 4mm, 8mm, 15mm, 30mm Great for coverage, wide nibs, durable. Arteza Budget-Friendly 0.7mm, 1.0mm, 1.5mm (various sets) Good quality for the price. Good for beginners. Ohuhu Budget-Friendly 0.7mm, 1.0mm, 3.0mm (various sets) Very popular for coloring books and crafts. Pros & Cons Pros: Opague: Covers dark surfaces. Permanent: Won't run if wet. Versatile: Works on many surfaces. Precise: Allows for fine details and thick lines. Mixable: Can blend colors (while wet). Cons: Dry Out: They can dry out if caps are left off for even a few minutes. Clogging: Need to be shaken vigorously and primed (tip down) before use. Cost: High-quality ones (Posca, Molotow) are more expensive than standard markers. Smell: Some have a mild chemical smell (usually safe for adults, less so for small children). How to Use Them Properly Shake: Shake the marker vigorously (cap on) for at least 30 seconds. You should hear the mixing ball rattling. Prime: Press the tip down on a scrap piece of paper. This pushes the paint into the tip. You may need to do this several times. Apply: Use smooth, even strokes. Don't press too hard or you'll flood the tip. Layer: Let each layer dry (5-15 minutes) before adding another. Acrylic dries fast. Cap Immediately: Always replace the cap tightly after use. If left off for 5 minutes, the tip can harden. Clean: Wipe the tip on a paper towel occasionally to remove dried paint. What Are They Best Used For? Rock Painting: The opaque colors pop beautifully on dark stones. Customizing Shoes & Clothing: Great for adding permanent designs to fabric. Glass & Ceramic: Perfect for decorating mugs, jars, or windows. Canvas Painting: Use them for fine details over acrylic backgrounds. Illustration & Doodling: Excellent for comic book art, journaling, and card making. Graffiti & Street Art: Used for tags, throw-ups, and detailed pieces. Model Painting: Great for small, precise details. Summary: Are They Right for You? Get them if: You need opaque, permanent, vibrant colors for crafts, customizing objects, or creating bold illustrations on varied surfaces. Skip them if: You only draw on paper (use alcohol markers like Copic or Ohuhu), need water-based washable markers for kids, or are looking for a cheap, throwaway pen. Recommendation: If you are starting out, Posca is the most reliable and beginner-friendly brand. Get a set of 5-8 basic colors (white, black, red, blue, yellow, green, brown, silver) in 1.0mm or 1.8mm tips.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
