Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Mining in EVE Online is a core profession that involves extracting raw materials (ores, ice, and gas) from asteroids, ice fields, and gas clouds to sell or use in manufacturing. Heres a comprehensive guide to getting started: Types of Resources to Mine Ores: Used for refining into minerals (e.g., Tritanium, Pyerite, Mexallon). Found in asteroid belts or anomalies. - High-Sec: Veldspar, Scordite, Pyroxeres - Low/Null-Sec: Arkonor, Bistot, Mercoxit (higher value) - Wormholes: Rarities like Crokite or Jaspet Ice: Used for fuel blocks and reactions. Mined from ice belts (mostly in null-sec and some high-sec). Gas: Harvested from gas clouds in wormholes or null-sec, used for boosting and drug production. Ships for Mining Beginner: - Venture (T1 frigate): Cheap, good for starting out, bonus to mining yield. Intermediate: - Procurer/Skiff (T1/T2 barge): Tanky, good for solo mining in dangerous space. - Retriever/Mackinaw (T1/T2 barge): Higher yield but less tank. Advanced: - Orca/Rorqual (industrial command ships): For fleet boosts and high-volume mining (requires skill investment). Equipment & Fitting Mining Lasers/Strip Miners: Extract ore. Survey Scanner: Checks asteroid composition. Mining Crystals: (For T2 miners) Increase yield for specific ores. Drones: Combat drones for defense or mining drones for extra income. Mods: - Mining Laser Upgrade (yield bonus). - Survey Scanner (to find best rocks). - Afterburner/MWD (for positioning). Example Venture Fit: High: 2x Miner I Mid: 1x Afterburner, 1x Survey Scanner Low: 1x Mining Laser Upgrade Drones: 2x Hobgoblin I (for defense) Where to Mine? High-Security (High-Sec): Safest but lower profits. Low-Security (Low-Sec): Better ores but risk of PvP. Null-Security (Null-Sec): Best ores (e.g., Arkonor) but dangerous. Wormholes: High-risk, high-reward (gas and rare ores). Tip: Use Dotlan to find good mining systems. Mining Fleet & Boosts Orca/Rorqual: Provides mining boosts (+yield, +range). Compression: Use a Mining Foreman to compress ore for easier hauling. Fleet Roles: Some players specialize in boosting, hauling, or defending miners. Safety Tips Watch Local Chat: If neutrals enter, dock up. Scout Ahead: Check for gankers in high-sec (especially in barges). Align to Station: Reduce warp time if attacked. Use a Hauler Alt: Transfer ore frequently to avoid losing it. Selling & Profit Refine or Sell Raw: Refining requires skills but can be more profitable. Market Hubs: Sell in Jita, Amarr, or Dodixie for best prices. Contracts: Some corps buy bulk ore directly. Advanced Mining Moon Mining: Requires a corp with a POS or Upwell structure. Abyssal Mining: Dangerous but lucrative. Ice Mining: Specialized for fuel production. Skill Plan Core Skills: - Mining (Increases yield) - Astrogeology (Faster cycle time) - Drones (For mining/combat drones) Barge Skills: - Exhumers (T2 barges) for max efficiency. Final Tips Start small (Venture Procurer Orca). Join a mining corp (e.g., EVE Uni, Red vs Blue) for protection and boosts. Use third-party tools like EVE-Central or EVE Market Data for pricing. Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
