Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

It sounds like you're asking about the difference or compatibility between liquid (or fluid) acrylics and standard acrylic paint. There are a few ways to interpret this, so here is the breakdown of the key concepts: "Liquid" Acrylics vs. "Heavy Body" Acrylics This is the most common distinction. "Liquid" is not a formal brand name but a descriptor for the viscosity (thickness) of the paint. Feature Liquid Acrylic (e.g., Golden Fluid, Liquitex Soft Body) Heavy Body Acrylic (Standard Tube Paint) : : : Consistency Thin, pourable, like heavy cream or ink. Thick, buttery, holds a peak (like buttercream frosting). Pigment Load High (often higher than student-grade heavy body). High (professional grade) to Medium (student grade). Best Use Pouring, airbrushing, staining, fine details, glazing, calligraphy. Impasto, palette knife work, blending on canvas, oil-style techniques. Additives Usually requires little to no water to flow. Usually needs water or medium to become liquid. Key takeaway: You can turn Heavy Body into Liquid by adding water or an acrylic medium (like Flow Aid or Pouring Medium). You cannot turn Liquid into Heavy Body (without adding a thickener like gel medium). "Liquid" as in Liquidtex (a specific brand) Liquitex is a major brand that makes both: Liquitex Heavy Body: Thick, professional paint. Liquitex Soft Body: Liquid-like, professional paint. Liquitex Acrylic Ink: Extremely fluid, high-pigment ink. Mixing Liquid Acrylics with Regular Acrylic Paint Yes, you can mix them. Since both are water-based acrylic polymers, they are completely compatible. Mixing Liquid into Regular (Heavy Body): This will thin the thick paint, making it easier to spread but lowering its ability to hold texture. Mixing Regular into Liquid: This will thicken the liquid slightly and increase its opacity. "Liquid" as in Paint Additives (e.g., Flow Medium) Sometimes people refer to acrylic flow medium or retarder as "liquid." These are not paints; they are additives that change the properties of your regular paint. Flow Medium: Makes paint flow more smoothly without breaking down the binder (unlike water). Water: Makes paint liquid, but too much can weaken the paint film (use no more than 50% water). Common Questions: Q: Can I use liquid acrylic paint for fluid art (pouring)? A: Yes, but you will likely need to add a pouring medium (like Floetrol or a specific acrylic pouring medium) to the liquid paint to achieve the perfect cell-making consistency. Q: Is liquid acrylic paint permanent? A: Yes, just like any other acrylic paint. Once dry, it is water-resistant and permanent. Q: What is "acrylic ink"? A: This is the most liquid form of acrylic paint. It is highly pigmented, very thin, and often waterproof when dry. It's used for airbrushing, fountain pens, and fine detail work. Summary Table for Quick Reference Term What it means Example : : : Liquid Acrylic Thin, pourable paint (high pigment). Golden Fluid Acrylics Regular Acrylic Thick, buttery paint (standard tube). Liquitex Heavy Body Acrylic Ink Very thin, dye-like acrylic paint. Liquitex Acrylic Ink Acrylic Medium Clear additive (makes paint liquid). Golden Flow Medium Final Advice: If you want to make your regular acrylic paint behave like liquid acrylic paint, add Acrylic Flow Medium (not just water). This will maintain the paint's strength and adhesion while making it flow like ink.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
