Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Here is a comprehensive guide to acrylic marker displays, covering the different types, best practices for retail, and considerations for artists and collectors. Acrylic marker displays are specialized racks or stands designed to hold and showcase alcohol-based and water-based acrylic markers (like Posca, Molotow, Montana, Copic, Ohuhu, and Sharpie Creative). The goal is to allow customers to see the full color range, test the markers, and easily grab what they need. Why Use a Dedicated Display? (The Benefits) Visibility: Markers stored in boxes or drawers are often overlooked. A vertical or tiered display shows every color cap, making it easy to find the perfect shade. Organization: Displays keep brands, series (e.g., "Pastel," "Neon," "Metallic"), and nib types (bullet, chisel, brush) separated. Prevention of Theft & Mess: Closed displays (with acrylic doors) prevent customers from picking up markers, losing caps, or stealing them. Open displays rely on gravity but can be messier. Merchandising: A colorful, well-organized display acts as a powerful visual marketing tool, encouraging impulse buys. Types of Acrylic Marker Displays The best type depends on where the display will be used (retail store, craft fair, art studio, or home). Type Best For Pros Cons : : : : Countertop Spinner Retail checkout, craft fairs 360 visibility, small footprint, holds 24-96 markers. Can be top-heavy; limited color capacity. Wall-Mounted Rack Retail aisles, art studios Saves floor space, very organized (by color or series), high capacity. Requires permanent installation. Gravity-Feed Box High-traffic retail Self-facing (new stock pushes forward), easy restocking, high density. Markers can jam; not good for delicate nibs. Tiered Step Rack Artist desk, home studio, craft fairs Simple, cheap, clear view of all colors, no moving parts. Easy to knock over; markers can roll. Hanging Pegboard Retail or home Flexible (move hooks), very cheap, can hold blister packs. Not as visually clean; markers may not be upright (ink can pool). Locking Acrylic Case High-end retail (e.g., Copic) Theft prevention, professional look, keeps dust off. Expensive; less accessible for testing. Key Features to Look For (Buying a Display) If you are purchasing a pre-made display, look for: Material: Clear acrylic (Plexiglass) is the gold standard. It is durable, lightweight, and does not yellow. Avoid cheap, brittle plastic. Marker Fit: The holes or slots must be the correct diameter. - Standard (e.g., Sharpie, Ohuhu): 10-12mm holes. - Large (e.g., Posca, Molotow One4All): 15-18mm holes (these are bulkier). Stability: The base should be heavy or wide enough to prevent tipping, especially for a spinner or step rack. Cup/Brush Protection: The slots should hold the marker by the barrel, not the cap, to prevent the nib from being crushed. Some displays have a small cup at the bottom to catch drips. Best Practices for Retail Displays (The "Test & Buy" Model) The most successful marker displays allow customers to test the product. This is critical for artist-grade markers. Dedicated Tester Station: Place one or two "tester" markers of each color (with a paper pad) next to or below the display. Never let customers test the markers in the display (they will dry out). Color Spectrum Order: Arrange markers by color family (Rainbow: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple) and then by shade (light to dark). This makes it intuitive to find a match. Blister Packs vs. Singles: Display single markers in a gravity-feed box for restocking, and packs (e.g., "Pastel Set of 12") in a hanging blister pack on a pegboard. Signage: Use small, clear acrylic signs to label the brand, series, and price. Accessibility: Ensure the display is at a comfortable height for all customers. A countertop display should be near the cash wrap. DIY & Home Studio Displays For an artist or collector, a commercial display might be overkill. Here are simple, effective DIY options: The "Shot Glass" Method: Use small, heavy ceramic shot glasses or test tubes in a wooden block to hold markers upright. Magnetic Strip: Glue a strong magnetic strip to a wooden board. Glue small magnets to the side of each marker. This keeps them organized and off your desk. PVC Pipe Rack: Cut 3-inch sections of 1-inch PVC pipe. Glue them onto a wooden base in a grid. This is cheap, durable, and perfect for thick Posca markers. IKEA Raskog Cart: Use a 3-tier utility cart. Place marker sets in small, clear plastic organizers on each tier. This is mobile and expandable. Sourcing & Suppliers If you are a retailer looking for displays: General Display Companies: - Royce Display - B&N Displays - Acrylic Display Inc. Custom Fabrication: - Search for "custom acrylic displays" or "laser cut acrylic racks" on Etsy or local sign shops. They can make a display to fit your exact marker dimensions. Direct from Marker Brands: - Posca/Mitsubishi: Offers specific countertop and wall displays for their bullet-tip markers. - Molotow: Has branded displays for their One4All and Premium markers. - Copic (Too Markers): Their locking displays are iconic but expensive. - Ohuhu: Often includes a basic cardboard/acrylic display in their large sets (e.g., 120-pack). Summary: The Ideal Acrylic Marker Display Feature Best Choice : : For Retail (High Traffic) Locking gravity-feed box or locking wall rack (to prevent theft). For Retail (Test & Buy) Countertop spinner with dedicated testers and a paper pad. For Home/Affordable Tiered step rack or DIY PVC pipe rack. For Studio (Professional) Clear acrylic tiered stand (holds markers by the barrel, not the cap). Crucial Note: Always ensure the display holds markers by the barrel (the thick body) to avoid pressure on the cap or the nib tip, which can damage the marker over time.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
