eve online corporations
In EVE Online, corporations (or "corps") are player-run organizations that form the backbone of the game's social and economic structure. They function similarly to guilds or clans in other MMOs but with deeper mechanics, including governance, industry, warfare, and diplomacy. Types of Corporations NPC Corporations - Default corps assigned to new players (e.g., Caldari Provisions, Amarr Certified). - Limited functionality (no custom structures, taxes go to NPCs). - Players usually leave these to join player-run corps. Player Corporations - Fully customizable with roles, ranks, and shared assets. - Can hold sovereignty in nullsec, wage wars, and run industrial operations. - Divided into several subtypes: - PvP Corps (e.g., Pandemic Horde, Goonswarm) Focus on warfare. - Industrial Corps Specialize in mining, manufacturing, or trading. - Wormhole Corps (e.g., Hard Knocks Inc.) Live in wormhole space. - High-Sec Corps Often mission-running or newbie-friendly. - Roleplaying Corps Follow in-universe lore and themes. Key Features of Player Corporations Roles & Permissions CEOs and directors assign roles (wallet access, hangar control, etc.). Corp Wallet Shared funds for operations, reimbursements, or SRP (Ship Replacement Programs). Structures Player-owned stations (POS, Upwell Citadels) for industry, defense, or markets. Alliances Multiple corps can form alliances (e.g., Imperium, PAPI) for large-scale warfare. Taxes & Dividends Corps can tax member income or pay dividends to shareholders. Joining or Creating a Corporation Joining a Corp: - Apply via in-game recruitment channels or external forums (r/evejobs, Discord). - Some corps require interviews, API checks, or skill prerequisites. Creating a Corp: - Costs 1.5M ISK (cheap) but requires management effort. - Recruit members, set up structures, and define goals. Notable Corporations & Alliances Corp/Alliance Focus Region Goonswarm (Imperium) Nullsec PvP Delve Pandemic Horde Newbie-friendly PvP Pure Blind Brave Newbies Beginner-focused Catch TEST Alliance Nullsec coalition Esoteria Eve University Learning corp High/Low/Null Hard Knocks Inc. Drama & Politics: Espionage (spies), betrayals, and wars are common. Tips for Choosing a Corp New Players: Join a newbie-friendly corp (Eve Uni, Brave Newbies). PvP Seekers: Look for active war corps or nullsec blocs. Industrialists: Find corps with mining boosts and buyback programs. Would you like recommendations based on your playstyle?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
