As of my last update, The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) does not support full cross-platform play between PC/Mac, PlayStation, and Xbox. However, there are some exceptions and nuances: Cross-Platform Restrictions: - PC/Mac players can only play with others on PC/Mac (via Steam, Epic, or Bethesda Launcher). - PlayStation (PS4/PS5) players can only play with other PlayStation players. - Xbox (Xbox One/Xbox Series XS) players can only play with other Xbox players. Cross-Progression (Limited): - No cross-save between PC and consoles. Your progress is locked to your platform. - Exception: If you play on PC via Steam and PC via Epic Games Store, you can use the same ESO account. Cross-Generation Play (Same Console Family): - PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 5 players can play together. - Xbox One & Xbox Series XS players can play together. Why No Full Cross-Play? - Sony, Microsoft, and PC platforms have different policies and backend systems. - Zenimax (ESO's developer) has not implemented full cross-play, unlike some other MMOs (e.g., Final Fantasy XIV). The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
