Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Finding a truly good gaming laptop under 500 new is nearly impossible. At this price point, you are looking at laptops with integrated graphics (like Intel UHD or Radeon Vega) or at best, an older entry-level dedicated GPU. The hard truth: For 500, you cannot buy a new laptop capable of playing modern AAA games (Cyberpunk 2077, Call of Duty, Elden Ring) at decent settings. What you can play: Esports titles like Fortnite, Rocket League, Valorant, CS:GO, League of Legends, and older games (2015-2018). Here are your best options, ranked by performance, strictly within the 500 budget. Option 1: The "Used/Refurbished Gold Standard" (Recommend if possible) Best Performance for the Money Your 500 goes much further in the used market. The key is finding a laptop with a GTX 1650 or GTX 1060 graphics card. This is 2-3x faster than any iGPU. Search for: Used Dell G3, Lenovo Legion Y540, Acer Nitro 5, or HP Pavilion Gaming. - Must have: GTX 1650 (4GB) or GTX 1060 (6GB) and at least 8GB RAM. Where to look: eBay (filter by "Used"), Facebook Marketplace, or r/hardwareswap. Risks: No warranty, potential for scratches/dead pixels, battery degradation. Always use PayPal Goods & Services for protection. Performance: Can play Fortnite (120fps), Apex Legends (60fps), GTA V (60fps), and even Cyberpunk 2077 at low settings (30fps). Option 2: The New Laptop with "Best iGPU" (No Dedicated GPU) Best for Esports & Light Gaming If you must buy new, you are buying a laptop with the strongest integrated graphics. The current king for this price is the AMD Ryzen 5 5500U, 5600U, or 5700U with Radeon Graphics. Best Model: Acer Aspire 5 (Ryzen 5 5500U / 8GB RAM / 256GB SSD) - Price: 429 - 499 (Check Amazon/Walmart) - The Catch: It doesn't look like a gaming laptop. It's a thin, silver business laptop. - Performance: Runs Valorant (100fps), CS:GO (120fps), Fortnite (low settings, 60fps), League of Legends (high fps). You can run Genshin Impact and Overwatch 2 on low. - Avoid: Intel i3 or Pentium models. Their integrated graphics are too weak. - Upgrade: You can often add a second stick of RAM to these models, which boosts gaming performance by 20-40% due to "dual-channel" mode. Alternative: Lenovo IdeaPad 3 (Ryzen 5 5500U) - Similar performance to the Acer, often on sale for 449. Option 3: The "Open Box" or "Scratch & Dent" Deal The Middle Ground Check Best Buy Open Box or Walmart Woot! for last year's models that have been returned. Look for: Acer Nitro 5 or HP Victus with a GTX 1650. Price: These can dip to 450 - 520 when open-box or on deep clearance. YMMV: Availability is random, but this is your best shot at a new-ish laptop with a real GPU for under 500. Final Verdict & Crucial Advice Choice Recommendation Why : : : Best Performance Used Dell G3/Acer Nitro 5 (GTX 1650) 3x the gaming power of a new 500 laptop. Safest New Acer Aspire 5 (Ryzen 5 5500U) Decent for esports, has a warranty, good for everyday work. Most Powerful New Keep Saving (700) A new RTX 2050 or RTX 3050 laptop starts at 650-700. The jump in performance is enormous. Your best move: If gaming is the only* goal, search eBay for "GTX 1650 gaming laptop" and sort by "Buy It Now" under 500. You will find better hardware than anything on a retail shelf. Warning: Avoid any laptop with "Intel Celeron," "Intel Pentium," or "EMMC storage." These are e-waste for gaming.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
