Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

When deciding between 16GB vs 32GB RAM for World of Warcraft (WoW), the choice depends on your gaming habits, system setup, and future needs. Heres a breakdown: World of Warcraft RAM Requirements Minimum: 4GB (but realistically 8GB for smooth play) Recommended: 16GB (for optimal performance in most scenarios) High-End/Streaming/Multitasking: 32GB (future-proofing or heavy multitasking) 16GB RAM: Who Should Use It? Best for: Casual WoW players (raids, dungeons, questing at 1080p/1440p) Systems without heavy background tasks (e.g., just Discord + Chrome tabs) Budget-conscious gamers Limitations: May struggle if running multiple apps (e.g., streaming, Chrome with many tabs, other games) Less future-proof for expansions or higher settings 32GB RAM: Who Should Use It? Best for: High-end WoW players (4K, max settings, large raids with heavy addons) Streamers/content creators (OBS, video editing, etc.) Multitaskers (many browser tabs, Discord, other apps open) Future-proofing (WoW expansions, other modern games) Overkill for: Casual WoW players with no background tasks Older systems where CPU/GPU is the bottleneck Real-World Performance Difference FPS Impact: Minimal (WoW is more CPU-bound than RAM-heavy) Stuttering: 32GB helps reduce stutters in crowded areas (e.g., Valdrakken, raids) Loading Times: Slightly faster with 32GB (if using high-speed RAM + SSD) Verdict: Which Should You Choose? Stick with 16GB if you only play WoW and dont multitask heavily. Upgrade to 32GB if you stream, use many addons, or run other demanding apps. Bonus Tip: If your system is struggling, upgrading your CPU (WoW loves single-core speed) or SSD may give a bigger performance boost than extra RAM. Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
