As of my last update in June 2024, World of Warcraft (WoW) has announced its next major expansion: The War Within (Announced at BlizzCon 2023) Release Date: Expected in 2024 (likely late summer/fall). Key Features: - New Zones: Explore the underground kingdom of Khaz Algar, including zones like the Isle of Dorn, Hallowfall, and the Ringing Deeps. - New Playable Race (Allied Race): The Earthen Dwarves (Alliance). - New System: Warbands Shared progression across alts (reputation, transmog, and more). - Delves: A new type of instanced content (similar to Torghast but more open-ended). - Level Cap Increase: Up to Level 80. - Story Focus: Xalatath (the former dagger of NZoth) and the return of the Nerubians. The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
