world of warcraft jobs classes
In World of Warcraft (WoW), "jobs" aren't formally called thatinstead, the game has Classes and Professions, which define your combat role and non-combat skills, respectively. Here's a breakdown: Classes (Combat Roles) Each class determines your abilities, playstyle, and role in group content (Dungeons, Raids, PvP). Classes fall into three primary roles: Tank (Survivability, holds enemy attention) Warrior (Protection) Paladin (Protection) Death Knight (Blood) Druid (Guardian) Monk (Brewmaster) Demon Hunter (Vengeance) Healer (Supports allies with healing) Priest (Discipline, Holy) Paladin (Holy) Shaman (Restoration) Druid (Restoration) Monk (Mistweaver) Evoker (Preservation) Damage (DPS) (Deals damage, split into sub-roles) Melee DPS: Rogue, Warrior (Fury/Arms), Death Knight (Frost/Unholy), Demon Hunter (Havoc), Monk (Windwalker). Ranged DPS: Mage, Warlock, Priest (Shadow), Hunter (Marksmanship/Beast Mastery), Shaman (Elemental), Druid (Balance), Evoker (Devastation). Professions (Non-Combat Jobs) Professions are crafting/gathering skills that provide gear, consumables, gold-making, or quality-of-life perks. Players can learn two primary professions and all secondary ones. Gathering Professions (Collect resources) Herbalism (Gather herbs for Alchemy/Inscription). Mining (Collect ores for Blacksmithing/Engineering/Jewelcrafting). Skinning (Skin beasts for Leatherworking). Crafting Professions (Create items) Alchemy (Potions, flasks, transmutations). Blacksmithing (Plate armor, weapons). Enchanting (Enhance gear with bonuses). Engineering (Gadgets, mounts, fun items). Inscription (Glyphs, scrolls, Darkmoon Cards). Jewelcrafting (Gems, trinkets, jewelry). Leatherworking (Leather/Mail armor, drums). Tailoring (Cloth armor, bags). Secondary Professions (All can be learned) Cooking (Food buffs). Fishing (Collect fish for Cooking/Alchemy). Archaeology (Collect artifacts for rewards). First Aid (Removed in later expansions; merged into Tailoring). Key Notes: Hybrid Classes: Some classes (e.g., Druid, Paladin) can fill multiple roles (Tank/Healer/DPS). Race Restrictions: Most classes are available to multiple races, but some combos are race-locked (e.g., Demon Hunters are only Blood Elves/Nightborne or Night Elves/Void Elves). Expansion Impact: New expansions often add professions (e.g., Dragon Isles crafting in Dragonflight). Would you like details on a specific class or profession?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
