world of warcraft 90s
It seems like you're referring to World of Warcraft (WoW) in the context of the 1990s, but WoW was actually released in 2004 (developed by Blizzard Entertainment). However, if you're imagining a hypothetical "WoW in the 90s" aesthetic or style, here are some fun ideas: What If WoW Existed in the 90s? Pixelated Graphics Early 3D or even 2D sprite-based visuals (think Diablo 1 or Ultima Online). Dial-Up Connections Laggy raids with frequent disconnects and "You hear that? That's the sound of dial-up!" memes. No Expansions Just the base game, with slower content updates (no Burning Crusade until 2007). CRT Monitors & LAN Parties Guild meetups would be in basements with pizza and Mountain Dew. Primitive UI Clunky menus, no addons like Deadly Boss Mods, and manual loot rolling. No Voice Chat Only text-based guild chats (or maybe Ventrilo/TeamSpeak for elite players). VHS Instructionals "How to Raid Molten Core" on a VHS tape from PC Gamer magazine. No WoWhead or YouTube Guides You'd rely on printed strategy guides or word-of-mouth tips. Real 90s MMOs That Inspired WoW If you're interested in actual 90s MMOs that paved the way for WoW, check out: Ultima Online (1997) Open-world sandbox with PvP and housing. EverQuest (1999) The first true 3D MMORPG with raids and grinding. Asherons Call (1999) Dynamic world events and skill-based progression. Meridian 59 (1996) One of the first 3D MMOs. Would you like a deeper dive into any of these? Or were you thinking of something else?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
