wizard101 tantrum
Of course! In Wizard101, "Tantrum" is a powerful AoE (Area of Effect) spell for the Myth School. It's known for its unique animation and solid damage output. Heres a detailed breakdown of everything you need to know about the Tantrum spell: Basic Information School: Myth Type: Damage Spell (AoE) Pips: 4 Pips Accuracy: 85% (Base) Effect: Deals 365 Myth Damage to all enemies. Animation: Your wizard stamps their foot, causing a shockwave that shatters the ground under the enemies. Stone fists then erupt from the ground to punch each enemy. How to Get the Tantrum Spell You do not learn Tantrum automatically through the main quest line. It must be acquired in one of two ways: Trained from a Secret Trainer (Most Common Method): Location: The Myth School in Ravenwood. Trainer: Dworgyn, the Myth professor, does NOT teach it. You must speak to Ptolemy, the secret Myth trainer, who stands near the entrance to the School's inner chamber. Level Requirement: Level 58 Cost: 45,000 Gold and 1 Training Point. Pet Talent (Alternative Source): Some Myth pets (like the Wandering Eye, Bloodbat, or Aardvark) may have the card "Myth-Bringer" or "Myth-Dealer" as a talent, which can grant a card for Tantrum. This version often has slightly different stats (e.g., 4 pips for 330 damage). Strategy & Usage Primary Role: It's Myth's go-to 4-pip AoE for mid-to-late game (Avalon onward), used to quickly clear weaker enemies ("minions") in a fight. Comparison: It's directly comparable to other school's 4-pip AoEs like Fire's Meteor Strike (390 damage) or Storm's Tempest (330 damage, but scalable). Strengths: Reliable, fixed damage. Excellent for mob battles when you don't want to spend more pips on a stronger spell like Orthrus (7 pips for single target) or Frog (which can be less consistent). Weaknesses: Its 85% base accuracy is a notable drawback. It's highly recommended to use Accuracy Jewels or gear with Myth accuracy boosts to prevent frustrating fizzles. Enhancing Tantrum Blades & Traps: Use Myth-specific blades (Spirit Blade, Elemental Blade, Mythblade) and traps (Spirit Trap, Myth Trap) to significantly increase its damage. Gear: Late-game gear from worlds like Darkmoor provides high damage and critical stats, making Tantrum hit even harder. Jewels: Socket Myth Accuracy Jewels (to reach 100% accuracy) and Myth Damage Jewels. Is Tantrum Worth It? Absolutely, for a pure Myth wizard. It is a cornerstone spell for efficient questing. The 45,000 gold and 1 Training Point are a very worthwhile investment at Level 58. For other schools or wizards: It is generally not recommended to spend Training Points on it, as your own school's AoE spells will be more efficient. Fun Fact The spell's animation perfectly captures the "Tantrum" namethe foot-stomp of a frustrated child causing chaotic, rocky havoc. It's one of the more memorable and thematic spell animations in the game. In summary: Tantrum is the essential Myth AoE workhorse spell, trained from Ptolemy in Ravenwood at Level 58, used for clearing groups of enemies quickly and reliably.

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
