Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Of course! The Pet Pavilion in Wizard101 is the central hub for all things pet-related. It's a deep and rewarding system that can significantly boost your wizard's power. Heres a comprehensive breakdown. Location & Basics Where: In the Wizard City Shopping District, it's the large, colorful tent next to the Library. Main NPC: Mildred Farseer, the Pet Kiosk Attendant. She gives tutorials and sells basic pet snacks. Primary Functions: Hatching, Training, and Derby. Pet Training (The "Pets" Tab) This is where you level up your pets to unlock their talents and stats. Energy Cost: Each training session costs Pet Energy (a separate pool from Mana, regenerates over time or with Elixirs). Snacks: You feed your pet snacks to grant experience (XP). Better snacks (higher rank) give more XP. Gardening is the best source for high-rank snacks (e.g., Couch Potatoes, Evil Magma Peas). Fishing, Crafting, and Boss Drops are other sources. Goal: Level your pet to Adult (can be put in the Kiosk), Ancient (unlels a "Card" talent), and Ultra (unlocks a "Selfish" talent or a "May Cast" aura). Pet Hatching (The "Hatchmaking" Tab) This is the core of pet breeding, used to combine traits from two pets to create a new, hopefully better, offspring. How it Works: Choose one of your pets as the "Parent." Choose a "Mate" from either: The Pet Kiosk: A massive shared library of pets from other players. You pay gold (and sometimes reagents) to borrow their pet for a hatch. This is the primary way to get new pet bodies and talents. A Friend's Pet: You can hatch directly with a friend if they are in the Pavilion with you. Pay a gold cost (can be high, from 50k to over 150k gold). You receive an Egg. It goes into your backpack and must be hatched (takes real-world time, or use a Hatching Elixir). Key Genetics Concepts: Pool: The combined list of all talents from both parents. Talents: Abilities your pet grants (e.g., damage boosts, critical, healing spells). They can be manifested (visible) or latent (in the pool). "Body" vs. "Talents": The offspring has a 50/50 chance of inheriting the physical "body" (pet type, like a Rain Core or Scarecrow) from either parent. Its talent pool is a mix from both. Selective Breeding: By repeatedly hatching the offspring back with a pet that has your desired talents, you "clean the pool" and increase the odds of manifesting the talents you want. Pet Derby (The "Derby" Tab) A mini-game where pets race on tracks. It's a fun side activity but not related to pet stats or talents for combat. You equip derby talents (like "Speed Boost" or "Mana Drain") to your pet. Races are 1v1 or 2v2. Mostly for fun and completing certain pet-related badges. Pet Kiosk The single most important feature for modern pet-making. Search for any pet by name, type, or talents. Borrow any pet for a gold cost. The owner receives a small reward when you do. Always check the Kiosk first before trying to trade with players. Essential Pet Talents Pets provide massive stat boosts. The meta focuses on: Damage Dealer Pets: Triple-Double (3 damage talents + Spell-Proof & Spell-Defying), Mighty + Quad Damage. Support/Healer Pets: May Cast healing or blade talents (e.g., Fairy, Unicorn, Blade of Fire). Utility Pets: Card-giving pets (e.g., a pet that gives a specific school blade or trap), or ones with Socketed talents (like a jewel that gives a Sharpen Blade card). Beginner's Pet Guide: Step-by-Step Get a Starter Pet: Your first pet often comes from a quest (e.g., the Nightmare in Unicorn Way) or a drop. Train to Adult: Level it to Adult to unlock its first two talents and make it hatchable. Go to the Kiosk: Search for the pet "body" you want (e.g., a Gloomy Eye for a Myth wizard). Hatch your Adult pet with it. Train the Offspring: Hatch the egg and train the new pet to Adult. See what talents it manifests. Repeat: If it gets a bad talent, hatch it again with the same Kiosk pet to improve the pool. If it gets good talents, keep training it to Ancient/Ultra. "Fail" Pets: Pets that manifest unwanted talents are kept at Adult to be used as cheap hatching partners later. Pro Tips & Warnings Gold is Key: Pet hatching is the biggest gold sink in the game. Have a gold farming spot (like Halfang Bristlecrown in Vestrilund). Energy Management: Plan your training sessions. Use energy elixirs or gear with bonus energy. Patience is Vital: Making a "perfect" pet can take 10+ hatches. Don't get discouraged. "Selfish Talents" at Ultra (like Mighty or Thinkin' Cap) affect stat calculations. A pet with Mighty will have higher numbers on its other talents. The Pet Pavilion is a game within the game. It can be complex, but the payoffa powerful pet that stays with you for your entire journeyis absolutely worth it. Start simple, use the Kiosk, and have fun

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
