Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Of course! The Owl pet in Wizard101 is a beloved and iconic companion, but it can be a bit confusing because there are several different owl pets. Heres a breakdown of everything you need to know. The Main Owl Pets The Original Owl (Often called "Owl" or "Brown Barn Owl") How to Get It: This was originally a reward for purchasing a 1-month membership card from select retailers (like GameStop). It is now only obtainable through the Pet Kiosk in the Pet Pavilion for Gold, or by hatching with someone who has it. Appearance: A classic great horned owl with brown feathers. Card: It grants the Blinding Light spell (4 pips, Life school, deals damage and removes a positive charm). The Snow Owl How to Get It: This was a promotional pet, often bundled with game cards or special offers. Like the original, it's now primarily found in the Pet Kiosk. Appearance: A beautiful white owl with blue details. Card: It grants the Frost Owl spell (4 pips, Ice school, deals damage and may stun). The Nightwing Owl (aka "Purple Owl") How to Get It: Originally from a special bundle. Now available via the Pet Kiosk. Appearance: A dark purple or black owl. Card: It grants the Nightwing spell (4 pips, Death school, steals health and may inflict a DoT). The Burrow Owl How to Get It: This is the easiest owl to get for free. Complete the quest "Burrower's Bane" in Savarstaad Pass, Grizzleheim. Appearance: A small, brown, burrowing owl that stands on the ground. Card: It grants the Earthen Guardian spell (4 pips, Myth school, summons a minion). Key Things to Know About Owl Pets They are "Utility Pets": Their main draw is their unique 4-pip AoE (Area of Effect) spell card. This can be incredibly useful for low-to-mid level wizards, especially when your school hasn't learned its own AoE yet. Pet Stats & Talents are Separate: The card they give is static. However, the talents (like Damage, Resist, or May Cast heals) are random and determined through hatching and training. You can hatch your owl with another pet in the Kiosk to try and get better talents while keeping the owl's look and card. The "Best" Owl is Subjective: For Utility: The original Owl (Blinding Light) is often considered the most useful because Life damage is rarely resisted, and it removes a charm. For Early Game: The Burrow Owl is great for Myth wizards before they get their Humongofrog spell. For Aesthetics: Choose the one you like the look of most! How to Get Your Own Owl Pet Pet Kiosk (Recommended): Go to the Pet Pavilion in Wizard City. Interact with the Pet Kiosk near the hatchery. Search for "Owl," "Snow Owl," etc. You can hatch with one for Gold (cost increases with your level). This is the most reliable method. Quest (Burrow Owl Only): Go to Grizzleheim and complete the questline in Savarstaad Pass. Hatch with a Friend: If you have a friend who has one, you can hatch with them directly. Training & Hatching Tips Goal First: Decide what you want. Do you want the card on a specific school wizard? Or do you want a strong stat pet (like a triple-double) with an owl appearance? Hatching Strategy: Use the Kiosk to get the owl body with the card you want. Then, hatch it repeatedly with a pet that has the ideal talents you're looking for. This will eventually transfer the talents onto your owl. In short: The Owl pet is a classic, useful companion, especially for its unique spell card. The Pet Kiosk is your best friend for obtaining any of the owl variants. Decide which school's spell card would benefit your wizard the most, and start hatching! Good luck

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
