Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Of course! Nightbringer is one of the most powerful and visually striking spells in Wizard101, introduced with the Lemuria world update. It's a spell that has become a staple for many players, especially in PvE. Heres a comprehensive breakdown of everything you need to know about the Nightbringer spell: What is Nightbringer? School: Death Type: Shadow-Enhanced Single-Target Attack Rank: 8 (Shadow Spell) Pip Cost: 7 Regular Pips + 1 Shadow Pip Effect: Deals Death damage to a single target and applies a powerful Damage Over Time (DoT) effect. Spell Details & Mechanics Initial Hit: 850 Death damage. Damage Over Time (DoT): 350 Death damage per round for 3 rounds (for a total of 1050 additional damage). Total Potential Damage: 1900 (850 + 1050) before any damage boosts or resistances. Key Feature: The DoT component is a major part of its power. It bypasses "one-time" shields (like Tower Shield) after the initial hit and can be used strategically to break through absorbs or finish off enemies over multiple rounds. How to Get the Nightbringer Spell You obtain the Nightbringer spell through a quest in Lemuria. Level Requirement: You must be at least Level 150 and have progressed through the main storyline to access Lemuria. The Quest: Shortly after arriving in the Nexus area of Lemuria, you will receive the quest "Shadow Spell: Nightbringer" from Dworgyn, the Death school professor in the Death school in Ravenwood. The Task: The quest involves a short, solo instance where you must defeat a boss that teaches you about the spell's power. Upon completion, you learn Nightbringer permanently. Strategic Uses & Why It's So Popular PvE Boss Fights: Its high damage and 3-round DoT make it excellent for sustained damage on bosses, especially when combined with Death's innate healing (via spells like Sacrifice or the Juju aura) to stay alive during the DoT ticks. Shield Breaking: The DoT is effective against enemies who cast single-use shields, as the damage continues in subsequent rounds. Finishing Move: It can be used to set up a guaranteed kill over the next few rounds, forcing the opponent to react or heal. PvP (Arena): While less dominant than in PvE, it's a solid choice for its pressure. The DoT can force an opponent to waste pips on cleansing charms or heal constantly. Pros and Cons Pros: Extremely High Total Damage for its pip cost. Sustained Pressure from the 3-round DoT. Iconic Animation (see below). Synergizes perfectly with the Death school's "damage to heal" playstyle. Cons: Slow: The damage is spread over 4 rounds, making it less ideal for quickly clearing mobs. Shadow Pip Reliant: Requires a Shadow Pip, which aren't always available on demand. Vulnerable to Cleanse Charms: In PvP, a simple Cleanse Charm can remove the entire DoT effect, negating a large portion of the spell's damage. The Nightbringer Mount There is also a popular Nightbringer Mount (often called the Nightbringer Gorgon). Appearance: A fearsome, winged gorgon-like creature. Effect: Grants a +2% Damage boost to all schools. How to Get: It is typically available during special promotions, Crowns Shop sales, or occasionally from certain Chests or Bundles. Spell Animation The animation is widely praised for being one of the coolest in the game: Your wizard summons a dark, spectral scythe. You launch forward, dragging the scythe through the target in a dramatic slash. The target is then marked with a dark sigil that pulses with purple energy as the DoT ticks each round. In summary, Nightbringer is a quintessential end-game Death spell that offers massive, strategic damage and embodies the shadowy, relentless nature of the Death school. It's a must-have for any Death wizard progressing through Lemuria and beyond.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
