Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Excellent choice! Level 70 in Wizard101 is a major milestone and a fantastic point in the game. You're right at the end of the Second Arc (Celestia Zafaria Avalon Azteca) and about to step into the climactic world of Khrysalis. Heres a breakdown of what you should know, focus on, and prepare for at this level: Where You Are & What's Next Current World: You are likely in the final stretches of Azteca. This world is long and challenging, but the story is epic. Next World: Khrysalis. This is the longest world in the game (split into two parts) and concludes the Morganthe storyline. Be prepared for a marathon, but the spells and rewards are worth it. Level 76 Milestone: This is one of the biggest power spikes in the game. You will get your Waterworks gear (if you have it) upgraded to the Darkmoor gear tier (much later, at 100) and, most importantly, you will learn your Level 78 Spell (the final spell for your school's "second arc" set). Key Priorities for Level 70 Gear Check: This is the most important thing. Best-in-Slot (Farmable): The Waterworks gear (from Mount Olympus, level 60) is still excellent. The House of Scales (in Azteca) gear is a slight side-grade, often with different stat focuses (e.g., more critical vs. more damage/resist). Farming it is optional. Crafting Alternative: The Crafted Azteca Gear (requiring recipes from vendors in Saltmeadow Swamp) is very good and comparable to House of Scales. It's a reliable way to get a full set without farming. Athame & Ring: Farm Gladiator Dimachaerus in Mount Olympus for the Alpha and Omega Ring and Blade of the Felled Titan athame. These are staples until level 90+. Amulet: The Shango's Amulet (from Mbuku in Zafaria) that gives a school blade and a school trap is still great. Deck: A Level 56+ deck from the Bazaar or a crafted one is sufficient until you get better drops. Pet: If you haven't already, now is the time to focus on a good pet. Aim for one that gives a Damage-Dealing (e.g., Pain-Giver, School-Dealer) or Utility (e.g., Spell-Proof, Spell-Defying, May Cast Heals/Blades) set of talents. A pet with a Sharpened Blade or Potent Trap item card is incredibly valuable for the coming difficult fights. Spell Preparation: Enchantments: Ensure you have the best Sun Enchantment spells (Gargantuan, found in Azteca). Auras & Shields: Craft or buy the Fortify aura (in Azteca) and the Empower aura (in Celestia). Keep your school and spirit shields handy. Gardening: If you want to be self-sufficient with potions, reagents, and snacks for pet training, start a garden. Evil Magma Peas or Couch Potatoes are the gold standard and will set you up with mega-snacks for the rest of the game. Immediate To-Do Before Khrysalis Finish Azteca: Complete the storyline to unlock Khrysalis. Craft Spells: If your school has a Crafted Spell (e.g., Winter Moon, Savage Paw, Burning Rampage), get the recipe from the vendor in the Azteca crafting area and craft it. They are powerful AoE options. Stock Up: Get Potions (especially Potent Potions from the Bazaar or crafting) and check your gear repair levels. Looking Ahead: Khrysalis & Beyond Pacing: Khrysalis is long. Take your time, enjoy the story, and find questing buddies if you can. The first half can feel slow, but the second half (Part 2) has some of the best storytelling and dungeons in the game. Level 100 Goal: Your next major gear goal is the Darkmoor dungeon at level 100. Everything between now and then is a stepping stone. Level 78 Spells: Get excited! These spells are iconic and powerful for every school. In short: At level 70, solidify your gear (Waterworks/House of Scales/Crafted Azteca), farm for your Athame/Ring from Mount Olympus, work on a good pet, and mentally prepare for the epic and lengthy journey through Khrysalis. You're in the home stretch of the game's core storyline! Good luck, Wizard

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
