wizard101 level 60 athames
Of course! At Level 60, you unlock the Waterworks dungeon, which provides the best-in-slot gear for many schools, including athames. The Level 60 meta is heavily defined by this dungeon. Heres a breakdown of the key Level 60 athames, categorized by their source. Best-in-Slot: Waterworks Athame (The "Blade of the Felled Titan") This is the ultimate goal for most wizards at this level. It drops from the final boss, Luska Charmbeak, in the Waterworks dungeon (located in Crab Alley, Wizard City). Name: Blade of the Felled Titan Stats (Approximate, varies by school): Damage: +6% (Universal) Accuracy: +5% (to your school) Health: +200 Power Pips: +5% Card: May include a school-specific blade or other utility card. Why it's the best: It provides a perfect balance of the most important stats: Damage, Accuracy, and Power Pip Chance, along with a solid health boost. It's superior to anything else available at the level. Other Notable Level 60+ Athames While you farm for the Waterworks athame, you might find these alternatives useful. Crafted Athame (Wintertusk) If you've progressed through Grizzleheim and Wintertusk, crafting is a powerful alternative. Name: Bear's Claw of [School] (e.g., Bear's Claw of Fire) Source: Vendor Nikki in Jotun (Wintertusk). Stats: Typically offers high Damage (+10-12% to your school) and good Health, but usually lacks Power Pip Chance. Best For: Wizards who prioritize raw hitting power over pip consistency or who haven't obtained the Waterworks athame yet. Bazaar/Drop Athames These can be decent placeholders. Check the Bazaar by filtering for Level 60+. Examples: Athame of the Asp, Dragon's Talon. Stats: They often provide a mix of Attack, Critical, Block, and minor health/pip bonuses, but are generally outclassed by the options above. Pack & Crown Shop Athames These are random or paid options and are not necessary. Nightmare Pack: Drops athames like Raven's Talon or Nightmare Athame, which can have very high critical and damage, but are luck-based. Crown Shop: Occasionally offers gear bundles. Stats are usually good but not always optimal. School-by-School Quick Reference Fire, Ice, Storm, Myth, Life, Death, Balance: Your end-game goal is the Blade of the Felled Titan from Waterworks. The crafted Bear's Claw is a strong damage-focused alternative. Diviner (Storm): The Waterworks athame is excellent. Storm may also consider the Bear's Claw for maximizing damage output. Thaumaturge (Ice): Waterworks is key for its balance of health and power pip chance. Pyromancer (Fire) & Theurgist (Life): The accuracy boost on the Waterworks athame is particularly valuable. Farming Tips for the Waterworks Athame Team Up: Use the Team Up kiosk outside the dungeon. It's much faster with a team. Standard Strategy: Have one wizard with a Prism for Luska (he's a Storm boss that casts Tower Shield). Use blade-stacking and strong single-target hits. Patience: The athame is not a guaranteed drop. You may need to run the dungeon several times. In summary: Your #1 priority at Level 60 should be to farm the Waterworks dungeon for the Blade of the Felled Titan. If crafting is easier for you, head to Wintertusk and get the Bear's Claw for your school.*

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
