Of course! In Wizard101, Jewel Plants are a special category of gardening plants that drop various types of Jewels, which are socketable gems for your gear. They are highly valued for crafting, hatching, and gear optimization. Heres a comprehensive guide to the most important Jewel Plants. Top Tier & Most Popular Jewel Plants These are the "elite" plants, often sought after for their efficient and valuable drops. Evil Magma Peas (EMP) The Crown Jewel: Universally considered the best jewel plant in the game. Drops: Athame & Ring Jewels (the most sought-after), along with Mega Snacks, Treasure Cards, and reagents. Why they're #1: They are a "King Isis" plant, meaning they drop their own seeds, allowing you to sustain your garden forever. They also have a fast regrowth timer. Frozen Fly Traps The Ice Rival: A close second to EMPs and often farmed alongside them. Drops: Athame & Ring Jewels, Mega Snacks (especially Couch Potatoes), Treasure Cards, and reagents. Why they're great: Also a "King Isis" plant that drops its own seeds. Some players prefer their snack drops (Couch Potatoes) over EMPs' (Pixie Stix). Jade Oni The Balance Specialist: The best source for specific, hard-to-find jewels. Drops: Balance-Only Damage Jewels (like +6% Balance Damage), along with other universal jewels, snacks, and reagents. Key Feature: Their unique drop table makes them essential for Balance wizards looking to max their damage output. Excellent Mid-Tier & Starter Jewel Plants These are easier to obtain for a beginner gardener but still provide fantastic value. Deadly Helephant Ears The Starter Powerhouse: The most accessible top-tier jewel plant for newer gardeners. Drops: Athame & Ring Jewels, powerful Mega Snacks (Empower, etc.), Treasure Cards, and reagents. Why they're perfect to start with: They are not "King Isis" (they drop Helephant Ears seeds, a lower tier), but those seeds are still great for snacks. They have a large item yield and are relatively easy to get from bosses like Lord Nightshade. King Parsley The Reagent & Jewel Combo: A foundational plant for any serious gardener. Drops: Amber (for crafting spells and top-tier gear), Socket Wrenches, other jewels, and a chance to spawn Pink Dandelions (which also drop Amber and jewels). Uses: More famous for Amber farming, but its consistent jewel and wrench drops make it incredibly versatile. Pink Dandelion The King Parsley Partner: Often grown as a byproduct of a King Parsley garden. Drops: Amber, various jewels, and Socket Wrenches. Best Feature: They self-pollinate and spawn more of themselves, creating a self-sustaining side-garden. Niche & Specialized Jewel Plants Maelstrom Snap Dragon The Storm Specialist: Similar to Jade Oni, but for Storm wizards. Drops: Storm-Only Damage Jewels and other storm-centric jewels. Note: Very rare seed drop, making them less common than Jade Oni. Sunions The "Other" Damage Jewel Source: Drops school-specific damage and critical jewels. Drops: Various school-specific damage, block, and critical jewels. Obtained From: Mainly from the "Garden of Fear" pack in the Crown Shop. How to Get These Plants (Seed Sources) Evil Magma Peas / Frozen Fly Traps: The hardest to get. Sources include: Boss Drops: The secret boss in Aquila (Gladiator Dimachaerus), later-world bosses. Crown Shop Packs: "Garden of Fear" pack, "Night Mire" pack. Gardening Merchants: Occasionally sold for Empower Treasure Cards (the in-game currency for high-end trading). Deadly Helephant Ears: Drop from Lord Nightshade in Unicorn Way (Trinity Commons), various bosses in Celestia and later worlds. King Parsley: Drop from many bosses in Grizzleheim and Wintertusk, as well as higher-level mobs. Jade Oni: Drops from (unsurprisingly) the Jade Oni boss in Mooshu (Shoshun Village). Pro Gardening Tips for Jewel Plants The 69 Plot: The most efficient garden size for "large" plants like EMPs and Fly Traps is a 6x9 rectangle (69 plants). This maximizes the yield from area spells. Use Spells! Always cast: "Like Magic" (or the rank equivalent) to satisfy all needs at once. "Plant All" and "Harvest All" spells to save immense time. Pest Control: Keep Pixie (for needs) and Rank 2 Pest Zapper spells handy. Energy Gear: Equip gear that gives Energy and Energy Regeneration (like the "Bungalow" set from the Crown Shop or various crafted/Athame/Ring pieces) to take care of large gardens. Final Recommendation: For a brand new gardener: Start with Deadly Helephant Ears or King Parsley. For an established player: The ultimate goal is a large plot of Evil Magma Peas and/or Frozen Fly Traps. Trade for your first seed using Empower TCs, then let your garden replicate itself. Happy Gardening

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
