wizard101 how to unlock wintertusk
Excellent question! Unlocking Wintertusk is a major milestone in Wizard101, as it's the final world of the First Arc (levels 1-60) and offers a huge amount of XP to quickly push you towards the level 60+ worlds. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to unlock and access Wintertusk. Prerequisites: You MUST Complete Grizzleheim First Wintertusk is a continuation of the Grizzleheim storyline. You cannot access Wintertusk without first completing all main quests in Grizzleheim. Grizzleheim Unlock: You can start Grizzleheim at level 20 by speaking to Merle Ambrose in his office. He will give you the quest "The Bear Necessities," which sends you to the world via a spiral door in the Wizard City Commons (near the waterfall). The Path to Unlocking Wintertusk Step 1: Complete All of Grizzleheim's Main Storyline You must progress through all five areas of Grizzleheim in order: Vigrid Roughland (Level 20+) Savarstaad Pass (Level 25+) Mirkholm Keep (Level 30+) Nidavellir (Level 35+) Ravenscar (Level 40+) You will know you've finished when you defeat the final boss in Ravenscar and complete the quest "The Final Count" for Jotun. Step 2: Receive the Starting Quest After turning in "The Final Count," your next quest will be "The Game Hunt" from Mildred Farseer in Northguard (the main hub of Grizzleheim). Note: The quest giver might sometimes be Boris Blackrock in Northguard instead. Check with both if you're unsure. Step 3: Travel to Wintertusk "The Game Hunt" will direct you to the new Wintertusk gate, which is located in Northguard. In Northguard, head to the right side of the map (past the waterfall and Boris Blackrock). You'll find a wooden bridge leading to a new spiral door. This is the entrance to Hrundle Fjord, the first area of Wintertusk. Important Tips & Notes Recommended Level: While you can technically start Wintertusk around level 40 after finishing Grizzleheim, the first enemies are Level 55. It is highly recommended to be at least Level 50-55 before starting, or the difficulty spike will be very steep. Why It's Worth It: Wintertusk is famous for giving massive amounts of experience. Many players complete it alongside (or after) Celestia to quickly level from 50 to 60. Quest Lines: You will have two main quest givers: Mildred Farseer in Northguard (Grizzleheim) gives the overall world progression quests. Boris Blackrock in Hrundle Fjord (Wintertusk) gives the main storyline quests for each new area. Crafting: Wintertusk is where you can learn the Legendary Artisan crafting quest (from Dwyn Whitethorn in Sudrilund), which allows you to craft the excellent Wintertusk Gear (level 56 hat/robe/boots) for your school. Summary Checklist: Reach Level 20+ and get the Grizzleheim unlock quest from Ambrose. Complete all main quests in all five areas of Grizzleheim, finishing in Ravenscar. Receive the quest "The Game Hunt" from Mildred Farseer (or Boris Blackrock) in Northguard. Follow the quest to the new spiral door on the right side of Northguard. Enter Hrundle Fjord and speak to Boris Blackrock to begin your Wintertusk adventure! Good luck, Wizard! Wintertusk is challenging but incredibly rewarding.

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
