Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Of course! Here is a comprehensive Wizard101 Gear Guide, broken down by level, playstyle, and endgame goals. Core Philosophy: The Gear Progression "Checkpoints" You don't need to obsess over gear at every level. Focus on major upgrades at key level milestones to stay powerful without constant farming. The Leveling Journey (1-99) Early Game (Levels 1-29) Strategy: Use gear from quests, bosses, and the Bazaar. Key Goal: Unlock the Mount Olympus dungeon in Aquila (requires completion of Cyclops Lane & Waterworks in Wizard City). Milestone Dungeon: Mount Olympus (Level 30) Zeus Gear (Level 30): The first major upgrade. Senator gear (dropped by regular mobs) is good, but the Sky Iron Hasta wand (guaranteed drop from final boss) is a must-keepit gives +10% universal damage and never needs replacing until much later. Mid-Game (Levels 30-59) Milestone Dungeon: Waterworks (Level 60) The most famous gear set in the game. Waterworks Gear (Level 60) is excellent for health, resistance, and power pips. Farm this at level 60 and it will carry you comfortably into the next world. Alternative: House of Scales (Level 60) in Azteca offers slightly more offensive stats but less resistance. Often mixed with Waterworks. Late Leveling (Levels 60-99) Milestone Dungeon: Darkmoor (Level 100) The undisputed king of level 100 gear. The Graveyard dungeon in Darkmoor drops the Mali gear (from Malistaire). This is your primary goalfarm it relentlessly at level 100. It will be your foundation for all endgame activities until the max level cap. Endgame & Max Level Gearing (Levels 100-170+) At max level, gear becomes about specialization for specific purposes (PvE vs. PvP). PvE (Player vs. Environment) - The "Meta" Progression The current best-in-slot for most schools focuses on maximizing Damage and Pierce while maintaining decent critical. Hat/Robe/Boots: Aeon Gear (from Lemuria & Novus): The current standard for most schools at the latest max level (170). Offers the highest damage, pierce, and valuable set bonuses. Pre-Aeon Alternatives: Dragoon Gear (Catacombs, Level 130), Merciless Gear (Karamelle, Level 140), Revered Crafting Gear (Polaris Crafting), Cabalist Gear (Empyrea). Wand: Aeon Wand or Supreme Wand (from Novus key boss): Best for damage/pierce. Director's Wand (from the Director pack): A pack alternative with great stats. Sky Iron Hasta is still viable if you need the power pip and are focusing on other stats. Athame & Amulet: Typically from the same source as your main set (e.g., Aeon Athame). Darkmoor Athame (Level 100) is a classic that lasts a long time. Look for ones that give high damage, power pip chance, and a useful card (like a blade). Ring: Aeon Ring or Executive Ring (Karamelle) are top choices. Often provides damage, power pip, and a useful aura or blade item card. Deck: Prioritize extra pip slots (to hold more copies of key spells), then stats. Aeon Deck or crafted decks from later worlds are best. Pet: CRITICAL: Your pet is a 6th piece of gear. A perfect pet provides: Damage & Resist Talents (e.g., Triple-Double: 3 damage talents, 2 resist talents). Mighty Jewel (increases the strength of other talents). A useful item card (like a school blade or auras like Frenzy). PvP (Player vs. Player) Strategy: Prioritize Health, Resist, Accuracy, and Block over pure damage. Gear Sources: Often a mix of max-level set gear (like Aeon for its pierce) and specific PvP crafted gear or pack gear (e.g., Commander, Professor, Duelist gear) that offers unique resist and utility stats. Jewels: Stun Resist, Pierce, and Block jewels become essential. Gear by School: What to Prioritize? While the best set is often universal, stat priorities differ: Fire, Storm, Myth: Prioritize Damage and Pierce first, then Critical and Accuracy. Health is less of a focus. Ice, Death, Balance, Life: Need a balance. Death and Life often want good damage and high health/resist for survivability. Ice is the tank, so max resist and health. Balance benefits from high damage and accuracy for its support/blade hits. Alternative Gearing Paths Crafting: A fantastic way to get powerful gear without pure RNG farming. Key sets: Wintertusk Crafted Gear (Level 56): Great pre-Waterworks option. Avalon Crafted Gear (Level 70-80): Solid upgrade. Revered Crafting (Polaris, Level 100+): Near-Darkmoor quality. Bazaar: Useful for filling gaps, especially athames, rings, and decks while leveling. Packs: Crowns packs can offer powerful gear, but it's random and expensive. Only recommended if you don't mind spending money. Some pack wands/athames are best-in-slot. Quick-Reference Progression Chart Level Hat/Robe/Boots Source Key Accessories 30 Mount Olympus (Zeus Gear) Sky Iron Hasta (wand) 60 Waterworks / House of Scales Bazaar or crafted athame/ring 100 Darkmoor (Mali Gear) Darkmoor athame/ring; Shane amulet 130 Catacombs (Dragoon Gear) Dragoon athame/amulet/ring 140 Karamelle (Merciless Gear) Executive ring; Merciless athame 160/170 Lemuria/Novus (Aeon Gear) Full Aeon set; Supreme wand Final Tips Pet is Paramount: Don't neglect pet training. It's a long grind but offers the biggest stat boost. Jewels Matter: Use sockets to fix shortcomings (e.g., add accuracy if you fizzle, add resist if you're squishy). Farming is a Group Activity: Use the Team Up kiosk! Farming dungeons like Waterworks or Darkmoor with others is faster and more fun. Have Fun: Don't burn out farming the perfect set while leveling. The story and world exploration are the heart of the game. Good luck, Wizard!

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
