wizard101 barkingham palace
Of course! Barkingham Palace is one of the most beloved and iconic worlds in Wizard101, known for its whimsical, dog-themed take on Victorian London. Heres a detailed breakdown of everything you need to know: The Premise & Vibe World: Grizzleheim (specifically, the high-level side world accessible after completing Northguard in Grizzleheim). Required Level: You must be at least Level 35 and have completed the main storyline in Northguard. Theme: A charming, pun-filled, canine version of Victorian London and British aristocracy. Think Sherlock Holmes, the Queen's Guard, and classic literature, but with dogs, Scotties, and corgis. It's a stark and delightful contrast to the snowy, Viking-inspired themes of the rest of Grizzleheim. Key Locations & Characters Barkingham Palace: The central hub and castle, home to King Artorius and the noble dogs of the realm. Digmore Station: The main "transportation" area, styled like a London tube station. Newfoundland: A foggy, cobblestone-paved area with a Sherlock Holmes vibe. The Knight's Court: The royal courtyard and a major duel circle. Big Ben ("Big Bark"): A prominent clock tower landmark. Notable NPCs: King Artorius: The wise and noble ruler, a St. Bernard. Sir Malory: A knight and quest-giver. Mildred Farseer: A fortune-teller pug who gives key quests. The Three D's: Three dog thugs (Dexter, Denby, and Dugan) who serve as antagonists. Main Storyline The plot involves helping King Artorius and the citizens of Barkingham Palace deal with a curse that has befallen the Stone Hound, the ancient guardian of the realm. You'll: Investigate the curse and its connection to a mysterious figure from the past. Travel through time via Mildred Farseer's visions to uncover the truth. Face off against the corrupted spirit of Sir Greystone, a former hero. Ultimately restore the Stone Hound and save the kingdom. Why Players Love It Humor & Charm: The dog puns are endless and fantastic (e.g., "Collie-flower", "Bone Appetit", "The Mewsic Man"). Unique Aesthetic: It's a beautiful, detailed world that stands out from both Grizzleheim and the later more intense worlds. Excellent Writing: The quests are engaging, funny, and tell a complete, self-contained story. Great Rewards: It offers some of the best mid-level gear in the game, especially the gear from the Barkingham Palace Gauntlet (a dungeon dropped from packs) and crafted gear from the vendor Tyler. Important Rewards & Gear Waterworks Gear Alternative: For players around Level 60, the crafted gear from Barkingham (specifically the Aristocrat's Set) is a very strong and accessible alternative to the famous Waterworks gear. Spellements: The final boss, Sir Greystone, drops Spellements for the Life spell Forest Lord. Housing Items: Many charming, British-themed furniture items and castles. Tips for Playing Through Bring a Friend: Like much of Grizzleheim, the bosses here can be challenging for solo players due to high health and cheats (in later dungeons). Pay Attention to Cheats: The final dungeon, The Vault of Ice, and the Barkingham Palace Gauntlet have bosses with specific cheats you'll need to learn. Don't Skip It! While technically a side world, it's highly recommended for the experience, story, and excellent gear. Barkingham Palace Gauntlet This is a separate, purchasable dungeon (from the Crown Shop or as a drop from certain packs) that takes place inside* the palace. It's a challenging, multi-boss dungeon with unique mechanics and some of the best-looking architectural housing items in the game. In short, Barkingham Palace is a delightful, must-play world that offers a perfect blend of challenge, humor, and charm. It's a fan-favorite for a reason and a memorable highlight of any wizard's journey.

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
