Of course! In Wizard101, a 4-pip Area of Effect (AoE) spell is a Death wizard's first and most efficient way to hit all enemies at once. The primary and most iconic spell for this is Scarecrow. Heres a detailed breakdown of the 4-pip Death AoE and related information: The Core Spell: Scarecrow Pip Cost: 4 Pips (2 Power Pips for a Death wizard) School: Death Effect: Deals 400 Death damage to all enemies and heals the caster for 50% of the damage dealt to each target. Trainable Level: 48 (from Dworgyn in the Death School in Ravenwood). Why it's iconic: The built-in heal makes Scarecrow not just a powerful hitting tool, but also a fantastic survival tool. It allows Death wizards to sustain themselves while clearing mobs, which is a core part of the school's identity. Other Key 4-Pip Death AoE Options While Scarecrow is the mainstay, there are other ways to get a 4-pip Death AoE: Deer Knight Spell Type: Treasure Card, Crafted Spell, or Lore Spell. Pip Cost: 4 Pips (2 Power Pips). Effect: Deals 310 Death damage to all enemies and places a 3-round Death Damage Over Time (DoT) on all enemies. How to Get: Crafted via the recipe in Avalon, dropped from the Loremaster, or obtained as a Treasure Card. It's a popular alternative because the DoT can be stronger over time and it's available as early as level 15 if you have the TC or craft it. Headless Horseman Spell Type: Seasonal (Halloween) Lore Spell or Treasure Card. Pip Cost: 4 Pips (2 Power Pips). Effect: Deals 330-380 Death damage to all enemies (damage range is variable). How to Get: Dropped from various Halloween bosses (e.g., Horseman) or as a pack spell. It's a direct, no-frills damage option. Ship of Fools Spell Type: Lore Spell (from the Graveyard in Darkmoor) or Pack Spell. Pip Cost: 4 Pips (2 Power Pips). Effect: Deals 430 Death damage to all enemies and heals the caster for 50% of the damage dealt (functionally a stronger Scarecrow). How to Get: A rare drop from the Graveyard dungeon or from specific packs. It's considered the premium 4-pip Death AoE due to its higher base damage. Strategy & Progression Early Game (Before Level 48): Death wizards lack a native AoE. The common strategy is to use Poison (single-target DoT) or to acquire Deer Knight Treasure Cards from the Bazaar or friends. Some players also use a pet that grants the Deer Knight spell. Mid Game (Level 48+): Once you train Scarecrow, it becomes your go-to mob-clearing spell for the vast majority of the game due to its perfect balance of damage and healing. Late Game: Many Death wizards seek Ship of Fools for its higher damage, but Scarecrow remains completely viable. At higher levels, you'll use 7-pip AoEs like Mystic Colossus (from the Arcanum) or Call of Khrulhu for more power. Quick Comparison Table Spell Pip Cost Base Damage Secondary Effect How to Obtain : : : : : Scarecrow 4 400 Heals 50% of damage Train at Level 48 Deer Knight 4 310 + 3-Round DoT - Craft, Lore, or TC Headless Horseman 4 330-380 - Halloween Lore or TC Ship of Fools 4 430 Heals 50% of damage Graveyard Lore or Packs In summary: For a Death wizard, your 4-pip AoE journey typically starts with Deer Knight (if available early) and firmly settles on Scarecrow at level 48, which will be your loyal companion for the entire game.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
