Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

An Epic Games Account is your central login and profile for all products and services created by Epic Games. Think of it as your universal passport for everything in the Epic ecosystem. Heres a breakdown of what it is, what it does, and why it's important: Core Purpose It's a single sign-on account that gives you access to a wide range of Epic's offerings, unifying your identity, purchases, and data across platforms. Key Things You Can Do With It Play Fortnite: This is the most common use. Your account stores all your progress, cosmetic items (skins, pickaxes, etc.), V-Bucks balance, and friend list. Access the Epic Games Store: It's your account for Epic's PC game storefront, where you can buy games, claim free weekly titles, and manage your library. Play Other Epic Games: Such as Rocket League (since Epic acquired Psyonix), Fall Guys, and the MetaHuman suite. Use Unreal Engine: Developers use their Epic account to download and use the Unreal Engine game development toolkit. Cross-Platform Progression: This is a major feature. You can log into your Epic account on a PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC, or mobile, and your progress and items in supported games (like Fortnite) will sync across all of them. Social Features: Add friends, send messages, and join parties across platforms. Security & Parental Controls: Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for security. Parents can also create Cabined Accounts for children to manage spending and playtime. How It Works (Linking Accounts) A crucial feature is account linking. You can connect your Epic Games Account to your existing platform accounts (like PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Account, Steam, etc.). Why Link? This allows for cross-play and cross-progression. For example, you can earn a skin on your Xbox and then use it when playing on your PC. Important Note: You must link these accounts through Epic's official website to ensure your items and progress merge correctly. Creating separate Epic accounts for each platform can lead to lost items. Why You Might Need One You want to play Fortnite on any platform. You want to claim free games on the Epic Games Store every week. You are a game developer using Unreal Engine. You want to carry your progress and purchases across different gaming devices. Important Considerations Security: Use a strong, unique password and enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). This not only secures your account but also often rewards you with free items in games like Fortnite. Account Merging is Gone: The ability to merge two Epic accounts (e.g., from different consoles) is no longer available. Today, you should have one primary Epic account linked to all your platforms. Username vs. Display Name: You have two names: Epic Account ID/Username: This is your login credential and unique identifier. * Display Name: This is what friends see in-game. You can change it more frequently. In short, an Epic Games Account is your essential gateway to Fortnite, the Epic Games Store, cross-platform gaming, and the Unreal Engine ecosystem. If you play any of Epic's popular titles, you almost certainly need one.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
