Ultima Online (UO) is one of the earliest and most influential MMORPGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games), originally released in 1997 by Origin Systems. Over the years, various web clients and third-party tools have been developed to enhance or modify the gameplay experience. Below is an overview of web clients and related tools for Ultima Online: Official Web Client (Discontinued) Classic Client & Enhanced Client: - The official Ultima Online clients (Classic and Enhanced) were downloadable applications, not web-based. - The "UO Gateway" was a web-based launcher used to select shards (servers), but the game itself still required a desktop client. Web-Based Play (Brief Experiment): - In the early 2010s, Broadsword (the current developer) experimented with a browser-based UO client using Unity, but it was never officially released. Third-Party Web Clients & Tools Several community-driven projects have attempted to create web-based UO experiences: A. CUO (ClassicUO Web Client) - A JavaScript-based web client derived from ClassicUO, a popular open-source UO client. - Allows playing UO in a browser with similar functionality to the classic client. - GitHub: https://github.com/ClassicUO/ClassicUO (Check for web client forks). B. Razor & AssistUO Web Tools - While not full clients, tools like Razor (a UO assistant) have web-based configuration panels. - Some private servers offer web-based character management (e.g., skill training, item viewing). C. OpenUO & Web Emulators - Projects like OpenUO aimed to recreate UO in modern formats, including browser play. - Some private servers use custom web interfaces for gameplay elements (e.g., housing, guild management). Private Server Web Clients Some UO private servers (freeshards) offer browser-based features: Web Maps & Trackers: Interactive maps (e.g., UO Cartographer). Web-Based Character Creators: For account setup before downloading the full client. Mobile-Friendly Interfaces: Limited actions like checking stats or guild chat. Web-Based UO Clones & Inspirations Browser-Based MMORPGs: Games like TibiaME or RuneScape (via RuneScape 3 HTML5) offer similar experiences. UO-Inspired Web Games: Some indie projects mimic UOs mechanics in a browser (e.g., "Azerion"-style RPGs). How to Play UO in a Browser Today Official Servers: No web client exists; download the client from www.uo.com. Private Servers: Some may offer web-based tools (e.g., UO Outlands has a web map). Experimental Projects: Check GitHub for ClassicUO Web or similar forks. Future Possibilities WebAssembly (WASM): Could enable full UO emulation in browsers. Cloud Gaming: Services like GeForce Now might stream UO to browsers. Would you like help finding a specific web tool or private server?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
