As of my last knowledge update in June 2024, there is no official Warhammer MMORPG currently active or announced. However, there have been several Warhammer-themed online games over the years, including: Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning (20082013) - Developer: Mythic Entertainment (EA) - Setting: Warhammer Fantasy (Old World) - Status: Shut down in 2013, but a fan-run private server called "Return of Reckoning" (unofficial) keeps the game alive with PvP and RvR (Realm vs. Realm) focus. - Notable Features: Large-scale faction battles, public quests, and class asymmetry. Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade (2017) - Developer: Behaviour Interactive - Setting: Warhammer 40K (far from a true MMORPG, more of a multiplayer shooter with RPG elements) - Status: Released but poorly received; servers are still up but with a small player base. The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
