In The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO), vampires are a playable condition that grants unique abilities and traits, but also comes with drawbacks. Heres a breakdown of vampirism in ESO: How to Become a Vampire Contracting Vampirism: - Get bitten by a Bloodfiend (rare spawns in specific zones at night) or another player vampire. - The three zones where Bloodfiends spawn are: - The Rift (EP) - Reapers March (AD) - Bangkorai (DC) - Alternatively, ask another player (a vampire) to bite you at a Dark Anchor or Shrine of the Veiled Heritance (requires "Blood Ritual" skill). Completing the Quest: - After being bitten, youll receive "Scion of the Blood Matron" quest, leading you to Lamae Bals shrine. - Completing this quest grants you Vampire Stage 1 and the Vampire skill line. Vampire Stages & Effects Vampires have four stages, each increasing power but also weaknesses: Stage 1: Minor penalties, low passive bonuses. Stage 2-4: Stronger abilities but greater weaknesses (e.g., increased fire damage, higher ability costs in daylight). Feeding on NPCs lowers your stage (reducing weaknesses but also power). Vampire Skill Line (Scion of the Blood Matron) Vampires have three active skills and an ultimate: Predators Leap (Morphs: Blood Mist / Elusive Mist) Dash or turn into mist. Blood Frenzy (Morphs: Frenzy / Simmering Frenzy) Sacrifice health for power. Drain Essence (Morphs: Arterial Burst / Swarming Scion) Life steal attack. Ultimate: Bat Swarm (Morphs: Devouring Swarm / Perfect Scion) Summon bats for AoE damage/healing. Passive Abilities Undeath: Reduces damage taken at low health. Supernatural Recovery: Faster Magicka/Stamina regen in stealth. Dark Stalker: Move faster in stealth & no sneak penalty. Unnatural Movement: Sprint invisibility (Stage 4). Pros & Cons of Being a Vampire Pros: - Strong burst healing with Blood Mist. - Great for magicka builds (especially Nightblades & Sorcerers). - Stealth bonuses (useful for PvP & Thieves Guild). - Unique aesthetics (glowing eyes, pale skin). Cons: - Increased fire damage taken (up to +25% at Stage 4). - Higher skill costs in sunlight (up to +20% at Stage 4). - Must feed regularly to manage stages. Best Classes for Vampires Nightblade (synergy with stealth & sustain). Sorcerer (magicka-based, benefits from regen). Necromancer (thematic undead pairing). Curing Vampirism Visit a priest of Arkay in any major city (costs gold). Use a "Purifying Bloody Mara" drink (crafted or bought). Vampire in PvP & PvE PvP: Strong for ganking (stealth + burst). PvE: Niche but viable for certain builds (e.g., MagBlade). Would you like recommendations for a vampire build?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
