Both Throne and Liberty and Lost Ark are popular MMORPGs with distinct features, gameplay styles, and strengths. Heres a detailed comparison to help you decide which might suit you better: Developer & Background Throne and Liberty - Developed by NCSoft (known for Lineage, Guild Wars 2, Aion). - Originally conceived as Lineage Eternal, rebranded as a standalone title. - Focuses on large-scale PvP, dynamic world events, and strategic combat. Lost Ark - Developed by Smilegate RPG (Korean studio) with Amazon Games handling Western publishing. - A top-down ARPG-MMO hybrid with Diablo-like combat and deep progression systems. - Emphasizes PvE content (raids, dungeons) but has competitive PvP modes. Gameplay & Combat Feature Throne and Liberty Lost Ark Perspective Third-person action (similar to Lineage) Isometric/top-down (like Diablo) Combat Tab-targeting with action elements Fast-paced, combo-driven action combat PvE Focus Open-world bosses, dungeons, sieges Raids, Chaos Dungeons, Guardian Raids PvP Focus Large-scale guild wars, territory control Arena (3v3), GvG, occasional open-world PvP Movement Traditional WASD + dodging Click-to-move + skill dashes TL;DR: - Lost Ark feels more like an ARPG with MMO elements (grind-heavy, gear-dependent). - Throne and Liberty leans into classic MMORPG territory (guild politics, open-world PvP). Progression & Endgame Throne and Liberty - Vertical + Horizontal Progression: Gear upgrades + faction/guild reputation. - Dynamic World Events: Weather, day/night cycles affect battles. - Sieges & Territory Control: Guilds compete for castles and resources. Lost Ark - Gear Score Grind: Heavy focus on honing gear to unlock raids. - Alts Encouraged: Multiple characters help with resource farming. - Raids & Legion Commanders: Mechanically complex boss fights (e.g., Brelshaza, Vykas). Monetization Both are F2P but have cash shops: - Lost Ark: Pay-for-convenience (skins, boosts, pets). Criticized for heavy grind without spending. - Throne and Liberty: Likely similar to Lineage (cosmetics, progression boosts). NCSoft has a history of P2W elements. Graphics & World Design Throne and Liberty - Stunning, realistic visuals with large open zones. - Dynamic environments (e.g., bridges forming/disappearing). Lost Ark - Beautiful but more stylized (cartoonish/anime-inspired). - Instanced zones with loading screens (less seamless than TL). Player Base & Popularity Lost Ark: Huge in the West (Steam peaks 300K players), but declining due to grind fatigue. Throne and Liberty: Newer (2023 release), still growing. Likely bigger in Asia. Which One Should You Play? Choose Lost Ark if you: - Love ARPG combat (skill rotations, dodging mechanics). - Enjoy challenging PvE raids and dont mind grinding. - Prefer isometric gameplay. Choose Throne and Liberty if you: - Want large-scale PvP (GvG, castle sieges). - Prefer open-world exploration with dynamic events. - Like NCSofts traditional MMORPG design (e.g., Lineage). Final Verdict PvE Fans Lost Ark (better raids/dungeons). PvP Fans Throne and Liberty (more strategic, guild-focused). Casual Players Lost Ark (more solo-friendly). Hardcore MMORPG Fans Throne and Liberty (deeper guild systems). Both are solid, but your preference for combat style (ARPG vs. tab-target) and endgame focus (PvE vs. PvP) should guide your choice.

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
