As of my last knowledge update in June 2024, Throne and Liberty is still in development, and official tier lists may not be fully established. However, based on beta tests, gameplay mechanics, and class/weapon performance, heres a preliminary tier list for key aspects of the game: Class/Weapon Tier List (PvE & PvP) (S = Top-tier, A = Strong, B = Viable, C = Niche/Weak) Role/Weapon PvE Tier PvP Tier Notes Greatsword S S High burst damage, strong in both modes. Factors Influencing Tiers: PvE Focus: Staff (healing) and Greatsword (DPS) are top picks for raids/dungeons. PvP Viability: Sword & Shield (tank/CC) and Bow (ranged pressure) dominate. Flexibility: Some weapons (e.g., Crossbow) rely on combos or specific builds. Early Meta Notes: Team Synergy Matters: Even "lower-tier" weapons can excel in coordinated groups. The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
