If Throne and Liberty is showing 0% GPU usage, it typically indicates that the game isn't properly utilizing your graphics card. Here are potential causes and fixes: Possible Causes: Integrated Graphics (iGPU) Being Used - The game might be running on your CPU's integrated GPU (e.g., Intel UHD Graphics) instead of your dedicated GPU (NVIDIA/AMD). Driver Issues - Outdated or corrupted GPU drivers can prevent proper detection. Game Settings or Bugs - The game may have optimization issues or bugs causing low/zero GPU utilization. Power/Performance Settings - Windows or GPU settings might be forcing power-saving modes. Background Applications - Other software (e.g., overlays, recording tools) could interfere. Solutions: Force Dedicated GPU Usage NVIDIA Users: 1. Open NVIDIA Control Panel Manage 3D Settings. 2. Under Program Settings, select Throne and Liberty. 3. Set Preferred graphics processor to High-performance NVIDIA processor. 4. Apply changes and restart the game. AMD Users: 1. Open AMD Radeon Software Graphics Game Graphics. 2. Add Throne and Liberty and set GPU Workload to Graphics. 3. Set Power Limit to Maximum Performance. Windows Settings: 1. Go to Settings System Display Graphics. 2. Add Throne and Liberty and set it to High Performance. Update GPU Drivers NVIDIA: Download latest drivers via GeForce Experience. AMD: Use AMD Adrenalin. Intel: Update via Intel Driver & Support Assistant. Check In-Game Settings Ensure the game is set to use your dedicated GPU in graphics options. Disable VSync or Frame Limiters if enabled. Try running in Fullscreen Exclusive Mode (not Borderless Windowed). Disable Overlays & Background Apps Turn off Discord Overlay, GeForce Experience Overlay, or MSI Afterburner. Close unnecessary background apps (e.g., Chrome, streaming software). Power Management Settings Windows: - Go to Control Panel Power Options Select High Performance. NVIDIA/AMD Control Panel: - Set Power Management Mode to Prefer Maximum Performance. Verify Game Files If using Steam/NC Launcher, verify integrity of game files. Reinstall the Game If the issue persists, a fresh install may help. Final Check Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) Performance tab Check if GPU usage increases when the game runs. Use GPU-Z or MSI Afterburner for deeper monitoring. If the problem continues, the game may have optimization issuescheck official forums or patches from the developers. The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
