If you're looking for The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) reviews on Reddit, heres a summary of common opinions from the community: Positive Aspects (Why People Love ESO) Huge, Immersive World The game captures the Elder Scrolls feel with rich lore, diverse zones, and detailed quests. Great Storytelling & Voice Acting Many praise the writing, especially in DLCs like Morrowind, Summerset, and Elsweyr. No Pay-to-Win The Crown Store is mostly cosmetic/convenience-based; gear is earned through gameplay. Flexible Class System You can build characters in many ways, unlike rigid MMOs. Solo-Friendly Most content (including storylines) can be done solo. Frequent Updates & Expansions Regular DLCs and Chapters keep the game fresh. Friendly Community Generally helpful, especially to new players. Negative Criticisms (Common Complaints) Combat Feels "Floatier" Than Skyrim Some find it less impactful than single-player TES games. Inventory Management Without ESO Plus, bag space is limited (crafting materials fill up quickly). Crown Store Monetization While not P2W, some dislike expensive cosmetics and loot boxes. Endgame Grind Veteran trials (raids) and PvP can be gear-dependent and grindy. Performance Issues Some players report lag in Cyrodiil (PvP zone) and occasional bugs. Reddits General Consensus "Best MMO for Elder Scrolls fans" If you love TES lore and exploration, ESO is a great fit. "Not Skyrim Online" Combat and gameplay differ from single-player TES games. "Worth Trying, Especially on Sale" The base game + expansions offer hundreds of hours of content. The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
