In The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO), there are various in-game "jobs" or roles that players can take on, both for gameplay and role-playing purposes. These include crafting professions, combat roles, and even unofficial player-driven jobs. Heres a breakdown: Crafting Professions (Crafting Skills) ESO features a robust crafting system where players can specialize in different professions: Blacksmithing Craft and improve metal weapons and heavy armor. Clothing Make light and medium armor, as well as outfits. Woodworking Craft staves, bows, and shields. Alchemy Brew potions and poisons using gathered reagents. Enchanting Create glyphs to enhance gear. Provisioning Cook food and brew drinks for buffs. Jewelry Crafting (Requires Summerset DLC) Craft and upgrade rings and necklaces. Players can master multiple crafts, but specializing in one or two is common due to skill point requirements. Combat Roles (Group Play) In group content (dungeons, trials, PvP), players typically fill one of three roles: Tank Absorbs damage and controls enemies (uses heavy armor, sword & shield). Healer Provides healing and support (uses restoration staves, light armor). Damage Dealer (DPS) Deals high damage (magicka or stamina-based builds). Gathering & Farming Some players focus on gathering materials to sell or use for crafting: Resource Farming Harvesting ore, wood, plants, and runes. Fishing Catching fish for achievements or provisioning. Thieving & Pickpocketing Stealing from NPCs and selling loot to fences (requires Thieves Guild DLC for better rewards). Player-Driven Economy Jobs Trader Buying low and selling high at guild traders (requires joining a trading guild). Master Crafter Crafting high-end gear for other players in exchange for gold or materials. Furnisher Crafting and selling furniture for player housing. Role-Playing (RP) Jobs Many players engage in role-playing, taking on jobs like: Innkeeper Running a tavern in player housing. Merchant Selling goods in RP guilds. Bounty Hunter/Assassin Using the Dark Brotherhood or Fighters Guild themes. Scholar/Librarian Collecting and sharing lore books. Guild-Specific Roles Guilds (both PvE and PvP) often have structured roles like: Guild Master Leader of the guild. Officers Managing events, recruitment, or trading. Event Organizers Planning trials, PvP raids, or social events. How to Get Started with Jobs in ESO? For Crafting: Start by deconstructing gear and harvesting materials in the world. For Combat Roles: Experiment with different builds (tank, healer, DPS) in dungeons. For Trading: Join a trading guild with a guild trader in a popular city (e.g., Mournhold, Wayrest). For RP Jobs: Check out RP-focused guilds in the in-game Guild Finder. Would you like more details on a specific job or role?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
