In The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO), Jewelry Crafting is a specialized profession that allows players to create and upgrade rings and necklaces. Introduced with the Summerset expansion, it differs from other crafting professions in several ways. Heres a detailed breakdown: Getting Started with Jewelry Crafting Unlock Requirement: Access to the Summerset chapter (included in ESO Plus or purchased separately). Jewelry Crafting Stations: Found in major cities (look for the symbol: a ring over an anvil). Skill Line: Level up by deconstructing jewelry, crafting, or completing crafting writs. Materials Used Base Materials (for crafting): - Platings: Used to improve jewelry quality (similar to tempering for armor/weapons). - Terne (White) Iridium (Green) Zinc (Blue) Chromium (Purple) Dreugh Wax (Gold). - Grains/Shards/Dust: Refined from raw materials (e.g., Copper, Silver, Gold, Platinum). - Jewelry Traits: Require Jewelry Crafting Motifs (learned via Plating items). Raw Materials: - Found via mining nodes (sparkling metallic rocks) or looted from containers. - Refined at crafting stations (chance to get Platings and Trait items). Crafting Jewelry Traits: 8 total (e.g., Bloodthirsty, Harmony, Swift). Learn them by consuming Trait Items (e.g., Porphyric Blotting Sand for Bloodthirsty). Motifs: Cosmetic styles (like other crafting professions). Leveling Tips: - Deconstruct intricate jewelry (marked with a "+" icon). - Craft low-level jewelry (uses fewer materials). - Complete daily Jewelry Crafting Writs (unlocked at Level 1). Upgrading Jewelry Improvement System: - Similar to blacksmithing/clothing but uses Platings instead of tempers. - Upgrading from Green to Gold requires rare Chromium Plating or Dreugh Wax. Transmutation/Reconstruction: Use the Transmute Station to change traits or reconstruct jewelry in collections. Jewelry Crafting Writs Daily Quests: Available in cities with a Jewelry Crafting Station. Rewards: Gold, materials, and Master Writ vouchers (for rare furnishings/items). Important Notes No Enchanting: Jewelry cannot be enchanted like armor/weapons (traits replace enchantments). CP160 Gear: Highest-tier jewelry requires Chromium Plating to upgrade to gold. Economy: Gold-quality jewelry materials (e.g., Dreugh Wax) are expensiveprioritize upgrades wisely. Best Practices Farm raw ore nodes in zones like Summerset or Craglorn. Join a trading guild to sell excess materials. Use the Jewelry Crafting passive skills to reduce material costs and improve refinement yields. Jewelry Crafting is valuable for endgame builds (especially PvP and trials), so investing time here pays off! Would you like tips on specific traits or farming spots?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
