Fishing in The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) is a relaxing and rewarding activity that allows players to catch various types of fish, which can be used for provisioning (cooking) or sold for gold. Heres a detailed guide on how to fish effectively in ESO: Getting Started with Fishing Fishing Holes: Look for rippling water spots along shorelines, rivers, lakes, or other bodies of water. Bait: Different fish require specific bait types. You can acquire bait by: - Looting crates, barrels, and sacks. - Purchasing from guild traders. - Finding it as random drops from enemies. Fishing Rod: You dont need a special rod to start, but equipping the Arananga Anglers Outfit (from the Fishing achievement) increases fishing speed. Types of Fish & Bait Each fishing hole is tied to a specific water type (Saltwater, Freshwater, Foulwater, or Lake/River). The bait you use affects what fish you catch: Bait Type Best For Worms Lakes & Rivers (Freshwater) Guts Foul Water (Sewers, Swamps) Chub Rivers Crawlers Lakes Insect Parts Any (general use) Shad Saltwater (Oceans) Perfect Roe: A rare drop when filleting fish, used to craft Psijic Ambrosia (XP boost potion). Fishing Process Approach a fishing hole (look for splashing water). Press the prompt to cast your line. Wait for a nibble (youll see a splash and hear a sound). Press the interaction button when prompted to reel in the fish. Repeat until the fishing hole is exhausted (disappears after 5-7 catches). Fishing Achievements & Rewards Master Angler Title: Catch every type of fish in all zones (requires dedication!). Arananga Anglers Outfit: Reduces fishing time. Fishing Dailies: In Murkmire and Summerset, you can complete fishing quests for extra rewards. Furnishings: Some fish can be used for home decorations (e.g., trophy fish). Tips for Efficient Fishing Fish in a group: Fishing with others (even just one more person) increases the chance of rare fish. Use the right bait: Check the water type before fishing. Fillet all fish: You might get Perfect Roe, which sells for a lot of gold. Visit Cyrodiil & Coldharbour: Some unique fish are found only in these zones. Rare & Trophy Fish Some fish are rare and used for achievements or furnishings: Slaughterfish (found in foul water). Dreugh (found in saltwater). Glass Minnow (found in Summerset). Fishing in ESO is a great way to unwind, earn gold, and complete achievements. Happy fishing, and may you catch plenty of Perfect Roe! Would you like help finding the best fishing spots in a specific zone?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
