In The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO), Fallen Banners refers to a specific quest in the Greymoor chapter (released in 2020), which is part of the Dark Heart of Skyrim storyline. Heres a quick breakdown: Quest: "Fallen Banners" Location: Western Skyrim (specifically Karthald). Faction: This quest is part of the Sons of the Wolf storyline, involving the Nords of Western Skyrim and their conflicts. Objective: You investigate the fate of a missing Nord war party and uncover the dark forces behind their disappearance (hint: vampires and the Gray Host). Key Characters: - Svana (a shieldmaiden of the Sons of the Wolf). - Fjorun (a mysterious figure tied to the Gray Host). Lore & Significance The quest ties into the larger Gray Host conspiracy, a vampire-led army seeking to conquer Skyrim. Youll encounter Nordic ruins, undead, and vampire enemies. The quests name ("Fallen Banners") symbolizes lost warriors and the decline of Nord traditions. Rewards Typically includes gold, experience, and possibly a unique item tied to the quest. Related Content If you enjoy this quest, you might like the rest of the Greymoor chapter, which delves deeper into Skyrims gothic horror themes, including the Blackreach: Greymoor Caverns zone and the Harrowstorm events. The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
