Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

In The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO), the three Alliancesalso known as Alliance War factionsplay a central role in the games PvP (Player vs. Player) conflict in Cyrodiil, as well as in the overarching story of the Three Banners War. Each alliance represents a coalition of races and nations vying for control of the Ruby Throne and the Imperial City. Heres a breakdown of the three alliances: The Aldmeri Dominion (AD) Motto: "For the Dominion!" Races: High Elves (Altmer), Wood Elves (Bosmer), Khajiit Leader: Queen Ayrenn (Ayrenn Arana Aldmeri) Capital: Elden Root (Grahtwood, Valenwood) Lore: The Dominion seeks to restore Elven supremacy in Tamriel under Queen Ayrenns rule, promoting unity among the Elves and Khajiit. They believe their rule will bring order and prosperity. The Daggerfall Covenant (DC) Motto: "For the Covenant!" Races: Bretons, Redguards, Orcs (Orsimer) Leader: King Emeric (Emeric of Cumberland) Capital: Wayrest (Stormhaven, High Rock) Lore: The Covenant is a pact between the human kingdoms of High Rock and Hammerfell, joined by the Orcs of Orsinium. They aim to restore stability and honor the legacy of the Second Empire. The Ebonheart Pact (EP) Motto: "For the Pact!" Races: Nords, Dark Elves (Dunmer), Argonians Leader: Jorunn the Skald-King (Nords), Almalexia (Dunmer), and the Argonian Hist Capital: Mournhold (Deshaan, Morrowind) Lore: A fragile alliance born out of necessity against common threats (like the Akaviri invasion). Despite historical tensions (e.g., Dunmer enslaving Argonians), they unite for survival. Key Features of Alliances in ESO: PvP (Cyrodiil & Imperial City): Players fight for their alliance in large-scale battles to capture keeps, resources, and the Emperor title. Story Impact: Early game zones are tied to your alliance, but later expansions (e.g., Morrowind, Elsweyr) allow exploration beyond faction limits. Alliance-Locked Characters: Your characters alliance is determined by their race (unless you have the "Any Race, Any Alliance" upgrade). Alliance War Rewards: Unique gear, titles (e.g., "Emperor"), and PvP skill lines (Assault/Support) are tied to faction performance. Cross-Alliance Play: The "One Tamriel" update (2016) removed faction restrictions for PvE, allowing players to group with friends across alliancesexcept in Cyrodiil, where factions remain. In PvP, you can only fight for your chosen alliance unless using a "Guest" mode in non-competitive campaigns. Which Alliance Should You Choose? Lore/RP: Pick based on racial/ideological preference. PvP: Some alliances may dominate certain campaigns (varies by platform/server). Race Flexibility: The "Any Race, Any Alliance" Crown Store item lets you mix races/factions. Each alliance offers unique stories, aesthetics, and motivations, but your choice only heavily impacts PvP. For PvE, you can experience all alliances by creating multiple characters. Would you like details on a specific alliances lore or PvP strategies?

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
