In RuneScape, the Evil Tree is a Distraction and Diversion (D&D) event where players work together to defeat a corrupted tree that spawns randomly across Gielinor. Heres a breakdown of how it works: Basics of the Evil Tree Type: Cooperative D&D (group activity) Requirements: - Free-to-play (FXP) players can participate, but members have access to more locations and rewards. - Woodcutting and Firemaking are the main skills used. Locations: The Evil Tree spawns in different areas, including: - Lumbridge Crater (F2P) - Varrock Palace (F2P) - Falador Park (F2P) - Taverley (Members) - Gnome Stronghold (Members) - Etc. (other member locations) How to Participate Find the Tree: - Check the D&D noticeboard or ask other players. - A system message announces spawns. Chop the Tree: - Use an axe to chop the tree (higher Woodcutting helps). - Players must also burn roots with a tinderbox (Firemaking). Defeat the Tree: - After enough damage, the tree collapses. - A reward nest appears, giving loot. Rewards Woodcutting & Firemaking XP (scales with level). Nest drops (seeds, rings, bird eggs). Bark fragments (used for Ivandis flail upgrades in The Branches of Darkmeyer quest). Bonus XP for high participation. Tips Use the best axe you can (e.g., Rune, Dragon). Bring a tinderbox for Firemaking. Higher-level players deal more damage. Evil Trees have different sizes (small, medium, large), affecting rewards. Respawn Time Spawns every 13 hours in different locations. Would you like help with anything specific, like optimal strategies or quest-related uses for Evil Tree rewards?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
