If you're looking for a hard RPG game, here are some notoriously challenging titles across different sub-genres (JRPG, WRPG, ARPG, Roguelikes, etc.) that will test your skills, patience, and strategic thinking: Extremely Hard RPGs (Classic & Modern) Dark Souls series (Action RPG) Brutal combat, punishing bosses, and minimal hand-holding. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (Action RPG) Demands perfect parrying and reflexes. Nioh 1 & 2 (Action RPG) Fast-paced combat with stamina management and deadly enemies. Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen (Action RPG) Late-game and Bitterblack Isle will wreck you. Pathologic 2 (Survival RPG) Stressful time/resource management with permadeath. Hard Turn-Based/JRPGs Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne Demonic difficulty, brutal random encounters. Etrian Odyssey series (Dungeon Crawler) Party-building is crucial; one mistake = wipe. The Last Remnant Unforgiving battle system with hidden mechanics. Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together (SRPG) One wrong move = squad annihilation. Fire Emblem: Thracia 776 (SRPG) Permadeath + limited resources = pain. Brutal Western RPGs Underrail (Like Fallout but harder) No mercy in combat or dialogue choices. Arcanum: Of Steam and Magick Obscura Unbalanced but rewarding if mastered. Baldurs Gate II (on Insane Mode) Enemies deal double damage. Divinity: Original Sin 2 (Tactician Mode) Enemies exploit weaknesses ruthlessly. Roguelike/Roguelite RPGs (Permadeath Hell) Caves of Qud Open-world roguelike where everything wants you dead. ADOM (Ancient Domains of Mystery) Classic ASCII roguelike with brutal RNG. Darkest Dungeon 1 & 2 Stress mechanics + permadeath = despair. Bonus: Modded Hard Modes Skyrim (with mods like Requiem or Wildcat) Turns the game into a survival nightmare. Fallout 4 (FROST mod) Post-apocalyptic hell with no easy wins. What kind of difficulty do you prefer? Punishing combat? (Try Sekiro/Nioh) Strategic depth? (Try Underrail/Tactics Ogre) Survival mechanics? (Try Pathologic 2) Old-school cruelty? (Try ADOM or SMT III) Let me know, and I can refine recommendations!

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
