Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Of course! The Rage Wizard is a popular and powerful playstyle in Wizard101, especially for solo questing and certain team strategies. It's not an official school, but a specific build and approach to the game. Heres a breakdown of everything you need to know about the Rage Wizard: Core Concept A Rage Wizard is typically a Fire School or Storm School wizard who focuses on dealing massive, overwhelming damage as quickly as possible, often at the expense of defense and utility. The goal is to end battles in 1-3 rounds. The "rage" comes from the aggressive, high-risk, high-reward playstyle. Key Characteristics Maximized Damage: Gear: Prioritizes gear with the highest Damage and Critical stats (e.g., Dragoon's Hat/Athame/Amulet, Mali Robe, Executive or Merciless Lexicon wand). Pet: Uses a pet with damage-dealing talents (e.g., Thinkin' Cap, Pain-Giver, Fire-Dealer/Storm-Dealer, Mighty). Jewels: Socket Damage and Critical jewels. Fast Setup: Relies on stacking Blades (self and from teammates) and sometimes a single Feint trap. Uses high-damage, multi-target (AoE) spells as their primary attack: Fire's Meteor Strike (early), Rain of Fire, Dragon, and eventually Scorching Scimitars. Storm's Tempest, Sirens, Storm Lord, and Rusalka's Wrath. Minimal Defense: Health and resist stats are secondary. They often have lower health pools. The philosophy is: "The best defense is a good offense." If the enemy is dead, they can't hit you. Simplified Strategy: Round 1: Blade (or a utility card like a Stun/Shield remover). Round 2: Blade or Feint. Round 3: Hit with a powerful AoE spell to finish all enemies. Pros and Cons Pros Cons : : Extremely fast questing - battles end quickly. Squishy - can die fast if the hit doesn't finish the fight. Highly effective for solo PvE - the game is balanced around this style. Vulnerable to bad luck - fizzles, enemy criticals, or shields can disrupt the plan. Great for farming - speed is key for repetitive boss runs. Less versatile - struggles in fights with complex cheats that require precise solutions. Fun and satisfying - big numbers are exciting. Can be stressful in team-ups if not communicating (e.g., breaking traps others set). How to Build a Rage Wizard Choose Your School: Fire (Damage Over Time, slightly tankier) or Storm (Highest raw damage, lowest accuracy/health). Gear Progression: Always seek out the highest damage set available for your level (e.g., Waterworks at 60, Darkmoor at 100, Catacombs at 130, Aeon at 160). Pet: Hatch for a pet with a damage-boosting set of talents. This is a long-term project. Training Points: Essential: Feint (Death to 26), Tower Shield (Ice to 38). Highly Recommended: Elemental/Spiritual Blades & Traps (Savarstaad Pass in Polaris), Reshuffle. Optional: Satyr (Life to 38) for a heal, or specific utility spells for your playstyle. Rage Wizard in Teams In a team, the Rage Wizard is often the designated "Hitter." The team's strategy revolves around protecting them and stacking blades/traps on them so they can unleash a game-ending attack. Communication is key! Let others know when you're ready to hit. Support wizards (Life, Ice, Balance, Death) are a Rage Wizard's best friends. Is it the "Best" Way to Play? For speed and efficiency in PvE, it's arguably the top strategy. However, Wizard101 offers many playstyles: Tank/Support: (Ice, Life, Balance) Focus on healing and protecting teammates. Utility/Control: (Myth, Death, Balance) Use debuffs, summons, and strategic spells to control the battle. Hybrid: A mix of damage and support. Conclusion: The Rage Wizard is a iconic and effective PvE build perfect for players who like aggressive, fast-paced gameplay and seeing huge damage numbers. Just be prepared for the occasional defeat when luck isn't on your side! Want to try a different flavor? The concept can apply to any school, but Fire and Storm excel at it due to their innate damage stats.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
