Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Of course! You can play a huge variety of fantastic games on your PC for free. Heres a breakdown of the main ways to do it, from the most popular platforms to specific game recommendations. Dedicated Game Platforms & Launchers (The Best Starting Points) These are the primary hubs for free PC gaming. You'll need to create a free account. Steam: The largest platform. Use the "Free to Play" category. It has everything from massive AAA titles to tiny indie gems. Top Examples: Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, Apex Legends, Warframe, Destiny 2, Team Fortress 2, Lost Ark. Epic Games Store: Famous for giving away 1-2 free games every week (you keep them forever). Also has major free-to-play titles. Top Examples: Fortnite, Rocket League, Fall Guys. (Check every Thursday for new free game claims!). GOG (Good Old Games): Focuses on DRM-free games. They occasionally give away free classic or indie games. EA App (formerly Origin): For EA's free-to-play titles. Top Example: The Sims 4 (base game is now free). Free-to-Play Game Genres & Specific Titles Here are some of the best free games, sorted by genre: Battle Royale: Fortnite, Apex Legends, Call of Duty: Warzone. MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena): League of Legends, Dota 2. Shooters: Counter-Strike 2, Valorant, Team Fortress 2, Overwatch 2. MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online): Genshin Impact, Warframe, Destiny 2, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Guild Wars 2 (base game). Strategy/Card Games: Hearthstone, Legends of Runeterra, Magic: The Gathering Arena. Creative/Social: Roblox (a platform of millions of user-created games). Other Legal Sources for Free Games itch.io: The home of indie game development. Thousands of free, experimental, and creative games from developers worldwide. Perfect for finding unique experiences. Official Developer Websites: Sometimes indie developers offer free versions or demos directly on their sites. Amazon Prime Gaming: If you have an Amazon Prime subscription, it includes free games and in-game content every month. Microsoft Store: Comes with Windows. Offers some free titles, often casual or puzzle games. Open Source Games: Community-developed and completely free. Great for classics. Examples: 0 A.D. (historical RTS), OpenTTD (transport simulation), SuperTuxKart (fun kart racer). Playing Classic/Abandonware Games (Legally Gray Area) Abandonware Sites: These host games where the copyright owner is no longer selling or supporting the title. Legality varies by game and country. Always check the site's policy. Popular Site: MyAbandonware Official Free Releases: Some developers have officially made old games free (e.g., id Software's DOOM and Quake series on sites like archive.org). Cloud Gaming Services (Play Without a Powerful PC) These let you stream games from powerful servers to your PC. They often have free tiers or trials. NVIDIA GeForce Now: You can play games you own on Steam/Epic/etc. on their hardware. Has a free tier with session limits. Xbox Cloud Gaming (via Game Pass Ultimate): Requires a subscription, but offers a massive library you can play on a low-end PC via browser. Quick Start Guide: Install Steam and the Epic Games Store. Browse their "Free to Play" sections and download anything that looks fun. Claim the free weekly game on Epic every Thursday. Explore itch.io for creative, weird, and wonderful indie games. Check communities like r/FreeGamesOnSteam on Reddit for the latest giveaways and deals. Important Warning: Avoid shady "free game" websites that promise cracked or pirated games. These are illegal, often contain malware/viruses, and harm developers. Free-to-Play models: Many make money through "microtransactions" (cosmetics, battle passes, time-savers). You can enjoy most without spending, but be aware of potential pressure to pay. Have fun! The world of free PC gaming is vast and full of incredible experiences.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
