Of course! "Potent Trap" is a Treasure Card (TC) in Wizard101, and it's a staple for any serious hitter, especially in team play. Heres a complete breakdown of everything you need to know. What is Potent Trap? Effect: It's a 70% universal damage trap. This means it boosts the next damage spell that hits the target by 70%, regardless of the school of the spell. Key Feature: It stacks with the regular school-specific traps (like Feint, Hex, etc.) and with other copies of itself. Card Color: Treasure Cards have a blue border. Why is it So Valuable and Popular? Massive Damage Boost: A 70% increase is huge. For comparison, the regular "Trap" spell is only 30%. Universal: It works for any school's attack. This makes it incredibly flexible for team strategies. Stacking: You can layer it. A common setup on a boss is: Feint (70%) + Potent Trap (70%) + School-Specific Trap (30%) + possibly a Curse (20%) or Hex (25%). This creates a damage multiplier that can make a single hit spell do tens of thousands of damage. Critical for Speed Runs & Endgame: In dungeons like Darkmoor, Catacombs, or Novus, efficiently defeating bosses in 1-2 rounds relies heavily on stacking Potent Traps. How to Get Potent Trap TC It's a coveted TC, so it doesn't drop from common enemies. Here are the main sources: Gardening: Best Source: Evil Magma Peas (EMP) and King Parsley are the most reliable farms. At mature and elder harvests, they have a good chance to drop Potent Trap TC. Other plants like Deadly Helephant Ears, Pink Dandelions, and Boom Shrooms also drop them, but less frequently. Fishing: Fishing in "TC" chests found in various houses (especially the Spellwrit and Watchtower Hall houses) can yield them. Crafting: You can craft them at a TC Station (bought from Eloise in Ravenwood). Recipe: 5x Simple Vials + 25x Ornate Vials + 15x Fossils. The reagents (especially Ornate Vials and Fossils) can be time-consuming to farm. Trading/Bazaar (Rarely): Players can sell them in the Trading Post (in the Commons) or, very rarely, they might appear in the Bazaar. They are usually snapped up instantly. Packs & Events: Some packs (like the Dragon's Hoard Pack or Professor's Hoard Pack) have a chance to drop them, but it's not a reliable farming method. Occasionally, they are awarded from events or as login bonuses. Strategic Use & Tips Communication is Key: In teams, coordinate who is placing traps to avoid overwriting a Feint or wasting pips. Blade First, Trap Last: The standard order is: Blades (on yourself) -> Traps (on the enemy) -> Hit. This is because traps can be removed or stolen if placed too early. The "Potent" Combo: The spell Potent Trap (the actual learned spell, not the TC) converts a Feint into a Potent Trap. This is a core spell for many high-level strategies, allowing you to turn your Feint's 70% into a universal 70% trap. TCs Save Deck Space: Carrying Potent Trap TCs allows your hitter to save precious deck space for blades and hits, while supports can carry the trap cards. Important Warning About "Trap" Spells Be aware of enemy spells that say "Remove Charms" or "Remove Wards." Traps are Wards. A boss casting a "Remove Wards" spell will wipe all traps (Feint, Hex, Potent Trap, etc.) off your target. Time your hits carefully to avoid this! Quick Summary for a TC Wizard What it does: +70% universal damage trap (stacks). Best Source: Gardening Evil Magma Peas or King Parsley. Primary Use: Stacking with Feint for massive one-hit kills on bosses. Pro Tip: Always have a stack of these in your TC deck for tough fights. They are the currency of high-level PvE play. If you're looking to farm them, setting up a garden of Evil Magma Peas is considered the long-term, most effective investment. Good luck

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
