Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Of course! While you can't download brand-new free games directly on your Xbox 360 anymore (the marketplace has largely shut down), there are still several legitimate and excellent ways to play free games on your console. Heres a breakdown of your options, from best to most limited: Xbox Live Gold (Now part of Game Pass Core) - The Primary Method This is the classic way. An active Xbox Game Pass Core (formerly Xbox Live Gold) subscription gives you access to the "Games with Gold" library. How it works: If you claimed the Games with Gold titles when they were offered (2013-2023), they are permanently yours to play as long as your subscription is active. What to do now: Check your "Ready to Install" list. If you ever had Gold and claimed the free games, you'll find a collection of 25+ games like AC II, Halo 3, Gears of War, Fallout 3, and more waiting for you to download. Cost: Requires a paid Game Pass Core subscription (9.99/month or 59.99/year). Free-to-Play Games (Still Available!) A handful of popular free-to-play games are still downloadable and playable on Xbox 360. You need an Xbox account, but no subscription. The biggest one: Apex Legends (The Xbox 360 version is very outdated and no longer updated, but was technically free). Others to look for (availability may vary): Happy Wars (A quirky team-based action game) Harm's Way (A racing/shooter hybrid) Doritos Crash Course (A fun obstacle course party game) Hexic HD (A puzzle game packed-in with many consoles) How to find them: Go to the Xbox Live Marketplace on your 360, browse the game store, and look for a "Free" or "Free-to-Play" section. Demos and Trials The Xbox 360 was the king of demos! Thousands of game demos are still available for download. How to find them: On the dashboard, go to Game Marketplace -> Browse Games -> Demos. You can find hours of free gameplay for almost every major title from that era. Examples: Trials for Skyrim, Mass Effect, Left 4 Dead 2, Minecraft, and countless others. Xbox 360 Games with "Free" Modes Some paid games have substantial free components: Keflings games (A Kingdom for Keflings, A World of Keflings): Have free, unlimited trial modes that are essentially the full game with a slower progression cap. Pinball FX 2: The base game is free with one table, and you can buy more tables individually. Important Limitations & Considerations: Marketplace Shutdown: Microsoft has significantly scaled back the 360 store. While you can still download previously owned content and some demos, you can no longer purchase new games or DLC directly on the Xbox 360 console. (You might still be able to buy some via the modern Xbox website). Online Servers: Many older games have had their online multiplayer servers shut down. Check a game's status before getting your hopes up for online play. Xbox Live Gold Transition: Games with Gold for Xbox 360 ended in October 2023. You can no longer claim new 360 games for free, but you keep the ones you previously claimed. Your Best Plan of Action: Check your "Ready to Install" list first. This is your goldmine if you ever had Gold. Browse the Demos section for endless free trials. Search the marketplace for the specific free-to-play titles listed above. While the era of new free games on the 360 is over, the console still offers a huge amount of free content from its legendary library. Enjoy your gaming

Amazing expansion!

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
