Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Of course! If you're looking for free, creative, and social games like Roblox, you're in luck. The key is to break down what you love about Roblox. Roblox is really three things in one: A Platform to play thousands of different mini-games (obbys, simulators, roleplay, etc.). A Creative Tool to build and code your own games. A Social Hub to hang out and chat with friends in a virtual space. Here are the best alternatives, categorized by what they offer: Best Direct Alternatives (Platforms with Many Games) These are the most similar to Roblox's core experience. Fortnite Creative (Now "Fortnite"): This is the biggest competitor. Using UEFN (Unreal Editor for Fortnite), players can build incredibly detailed and high-quality games and islands. You can jump from a zombie survival map to a racing game to a full RPG, all within Fortnite. It's free, cross-platform, and hugely popular. Core Games: Often called the "Roblox for PC gamers." It uses powerful Unreal Engine tools, allowing for more visually impressive and complex games. The game library is smaller but growing, with some very creative titles. Rec Room: A social VR game that's also on all consoles and PC. It's focused on user-created rooms and games. You can play paintball, laser tag, quests, or just hang out in custom clubhouses. The building tools are very accessible. GMod (Garry's Mod): A classic sandbox physics game on Steam. While not one unified platform, its endless mods and game modes (like Trouble in Terrorist Town, Prop Hunt) offer a similar "play anything" feel. It's a one-time purchase, but often goes on sale for under 5. Best for Creativity & Building Your Own Games If you love the Studio and learning to create, check these out. Unity or Unreal Engine: These are the professional, free game engines used to make most indie and AAA games. The learning curve is steeper than Roblox Studio, but the possibilities are endless. Tons of free tutorials exist. Godot: A fantastic, free, and open-source game engine that's gaining massive popularity. It's very user-friendly and a great next step after Roblox Studio. Minecraft (with mods/add-ons): While the base game is about survival/building, the modding community is immense. Using tools like MCreator or learning Java, you can create entirely new games, items, and mechanics within Minecraft. Scratch: A free, block-based programming language and community from MIT. Perfect for beginners (especially younger creators) to learn the logic of game design and share their projects. Best for Social Hangouts & Virtual Worlds If you just like exploring worlds and chatting with people. VRChat: The king of social VR (also available on desktop). It's almost entirely user-generated worlds and avatars. You can find anything from nightclubs and movie theaters to fantasy landscapes and meme worlds. ChilloutVR: A popular alternative to VRChat, often praised for its better performance and developer-friendly policies. Cluster: A platform for creating and joining virtual events, concerts, and meetups. Great for more structured social experiences. Great Free Games with a "Roblox Vibe" Individual games that capture parts of the Roblox feel. Kaiju Paradise (on Roblox, but worth mentioning): If you like specific Roblox genres like "anime roleplay" or "obstacle courses," many of them are unique to Roblox. Searching for the genre you like (e.g., "obby games," "tycoon games") on platforms like Steam will yield results. Unturned: A free, blocky zombie survival game on Steam that feels like a polished Roblox title. Shell Shockers (web-based): A silly, free-to-play first-person shooter where everyone is an egg. Simple, fun, and instantly accessible. Quick Recommendation Guide: "I want to play tons of different free games with my friends." Try Fortnite Creative or Rec Room. "I want to become a serious game developer." Start learning Unity or Godot. "I just want to hang out in cool virtual spaces." Dive into VRChat (desktop mode is free). "I love the blocky, simple graphics of Roblox." Check out GMod or Unturned. A Note on Safety: Like Roblox, many of these platforms are user-generated. Always use privacy settings, be cautious about sharing personal information, and use parental controls if needed. Happy gaming

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
