Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Here is the current legal status of online casinos in South Carolina. The short answer is: No, online casinos are not legal in South Carolina. There are no licensed, regulated online casinos or poker sites operating within the state. Any website claiming to be a "South Carolina online casino" is either operating illegally or is not based in the U.S. The Current Legal Landscape South Carolina has some of the strictest gambling laws in the United States. The state constitution explicitly prohibits all forms of gambling unless specifically authorized by the legislature. No Commercial Casinos: There are no physical, land-based casinos in South Carolina. No Online Casinos: The state has not passed any laws to license and regulate online casinos, slots, or poker. No State Lottery: Interestingly, South Carolina does not even have a state lottery. Limited Exceptions: The only legal forms of gambling are: - Charitable Bingo (with strict regulations) - Raffles run by non-profits - Parimutuel Betting (horse racing and dog racing) though no active tracks currently operate - Fantasy Sports (explicitly legalized in 2021) What About "Social Casinos" and Sweepstakes? While you cannot play for real money at a licensed online casino, you can find social casinos and sweepstakes casinos. How they work: These are free-to-play platforms where you purchase virtual currency ("Gold Coins" or "Sweeps Coins"). You can use these coins to play slots, blackjack, etc. Sweepstakes models allow you to redeem accumulated "Sweeps Coins" for real cash prizes. Legality: These operate under sweepstakes laws, not gambling laws, making them legal in South Carolina. Important Note: You are not directly betting or gambling with real money, but you can win real prizes. Is there any chance of legalization? Currently, there is very little political momentum for legalizing online casinos in South Carolina. Strong Opposition: The state has a powerful and influential religious and conservative base that has historically opposed any expansion of gambling. Focus on Other Issues: The legislature has been focused on other priorities, and a bill to legalize casinos (even land-based) has failed repeatedly for years. Competition: The lack of a state lottery or commercial casinos means there is no existing regulatory framework to build upon. Legalizing online casinos would be a massive legislative undertaking from scratch. What about the future? It is highly unlikely that South Carolina will legalize online casinos in the next 3-5 years. The political and cultural opposition is too strong. The most likely next step for gambling expansion in the state would be a state lottery, which is still a very difficult political battle. Summary for a South Carolina Resident Do not use: Offshore, unlicensed online casinos. They are illegal and offer no consumer protections. You can use: Social casinos and sweepstakes casinos (like Chumba Casino, LuckyLand Slots, etc.). Do not expect: Legal, regulated online casinos anytime soon. For the most up-to-date information, you would need to monitor the South Carolina General Assembly's website for any new gambling-related bills, but as of now, the situation is clear: online casinos remain illegal.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
