notes of light destiny 2
Here are some key notes about Light in Destiny 2, covering its significance, subclasses, abilities, and gameplay mechanics: The Light in Destiny 2 The Light is a paracausal force wielded by Guardians, granted by the Traveler. It represents the primary power source for Guardians, opposing the Darkness (Stasis, Strand). Light subclasses were reworked in The Witch Queen (2022) with the 3.0 system, offering more customization. Light Subclasses There are three core Light subclasses, each with distinct elements and playstyles: A. Solar (Fire) Theme: Burns enemies, provides healing, and boosts damage. Key Verbs: - Scorch: Stacks to cause Ignition (explosion). - Cure: Instant healing. - Restoration: Healing over time. - Radiant: Boosts weapon damage. Classes: - Dawnblade (Warlock): Focuses on aerial combat and support. - Gunslinger (Hunter): High burst damage (e.g., Blade Barrage). - Sunbreaker (Titan): Melee-focused with Hammers. B. Arc (Lightning) Theme: Speed, chaining damage, and melee aggression. Key Verbs: - Jolt: Causes chain lightning. - Blind: Disorients enemies. - Amplified: Increases speed and handling. Classes: - Stormcaller (Warlock): Chain lightning with Chaos Reach super. - Arcstrider (Hunter): Fast melee combos (Gathering Storm super). - Striker (Titan): Shoulder charge and Thundercrash (missile super). C. Void (Dark Energy) Theme: Debuffs, invisibility, and controlled explosions. Key Verbs: - Volatile: Enemies explode on death. - Suppress: Disables enemy abilities. - Weaken: Increases damage taken. - Invisibility (Hunter-specific). Classes: - Voidwalker (Warlock): Nova Bomb and Devour (heal on kill). - Nightstalker (Hunter): Invisibility and Shadowshot (tether). - Sentinel (Titan): Ward of Dawn (bubble shield) and Shield Throw. Light 3.0 Changes Introduced fragments & aspects for deeper customization. Grenades, melees, and supers are now more modular. Synergy with armor mods (e.g., Firepower, Explosive Wellmaker). Gameplay Tips Solar: Best for survivability (Warlock Well of Radiance) or burst DPS (Hunter Blade Barrage). Arc: Great for add-clear and speed (Titan Thundercrash is top-tier for boss damage). Void: Strong for crowd control (Hunter invisibility, Titan Bubble for raids). Light vs. Darkness Light focuses on team support, explosions, and healing. Darkness (Stasis/Strand) leans into crowd control, slowing, and grappling. Some endgame content favors Light subclasses (e.g., Well of Radiance in raids). Would you like details on specific builds or exotic synergies?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
